Hi IVP, What steps did you take between receiving the decision from AAO to Case Reopen. I am in a similar situation and my case was sustained on June 3, 2022 and have been waiting for over 4 months with no updates on the case. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Everyone, I raised the 2nd service request and have received no updates on the H1B appeal (sustained in June 3rd). Has anyone tried reaching the ombudsman office or any outside organization? If so, did your employer have to apply for it or can I apply through ombudsman?

@Sourabhi I have another question on the approval. Was the H1b Start date backdated than your approval date? I am trying to figure if I can switch companies on OPT and transfer the H1b when it comes through

Hi There, Just to clarify something here - Oct 2021 - Employer filed for H1B petition Nov2021 - RFE requested Jan 2022 - Denied Form I-129 (H1B) Feb 2022 - Filed Appeal Jun 3, 2022 - AAO sustained appeal (lawyer received the document) Still waiting for I797 - It's been almost 3 months since I am waiting on the I797 I am currently at 188 days since the appeal was filed, I received the sustained notice on June 3rd. Do you recommend I raise a service request for I290 so USCIS could take some action on the file AAO returned to USCIS? Thanks
