  1. Nothing till now. I don't get it, usatraveldocs.com has been showing the nearest interview date just barely 2 weeks ahead. I tried to speak to someone at they consulate but the won't allow you to get through to anyone.
  2. Hi ITBOB, when were you notified about your interview date? My wife has been DQ´d and waiting for an interview since August 4, 2023 and the case is still at NVC.
  3. Hi SantiCompos, can I ask how long did Almaty take to schedule the interview after DQ, and how far off was the interview date?
  4. Hi SirenDoll, and thanks for the response. Well, we already arrived on January 12, and she was admitted through the Visa Waiver Programme. The thing is that I was under the impression that once she had her interview and received her citizen certificate, I wouldn't have to leave the country (they would adjust her status through her I-94 number somehow). I applied for the N-600k then we were living abroad but we moved now in January to permanently stay, another thing is that initially she did not qualify (since I did not live in the US after the age of 14) for CRBA. Leaving and entering the US is not a big issue for us since we are in Puerto Rico and can easily travel to DR and back in order to get her maximum stay duration renewed.
  5. Hi, why do they ask for proof of return flights? My intention is to stay once my daughter has her citizenship.
  6. Hi, thanks for the info! I have the same situation, I'm about to file my daughters N-600K and I would like to know, does the qualifying grandparent have to attend the interview as well? I am applying to be interviewed at the USCIS office in Puerto Rico, according to USCIS processing times it is only 4 week, is that the time they take to process the N-600K? Thanks in advance.
