  1. Hello everyone! Hope all of you are doing fine. USCIS recently approved our petition, and they also sent our case to NVC and we received the welcome letter three days later. As you can read in the title, we want to wait until we reached the 2 years married to get the IR1 instead of the CR1 (edited, I got confused, sorry) and obviously, save some money. Our 2 years anniversary is on June 2024. We have not started the process with NVC yet. How can we delay our process until next year? Thank you!
  2. yes, we received two emails, first was about the AR2, and then the approval notice. But they came like a day after I saw myUSCIS without any notification. CaseTrack and Lawfully did not send me any notification the day of the approval either
  3. Guys!!! USCIS approved our case!!! I signed in with no hopes to see something new, and I saw the AR2 and the approval notice in the documents tab!! I do not believe it hahah I am in shock right now. Our approval came from Potomac SC
  4. Mine was 6 months and now it says the same, "Your case is taking longer than expected to process." Potomac SC.
  5. that's awesome, congrats!! did your approval letter come from California?
  6. I am starting to realize that K3 doesn't work in any SC. I think they don't review it. People who received their approval faster is because are lucky, and/or have the "easiest" cases. It is my opinion.
  7. Hello there! I am in a similar situation with my pending I-130 (we sent it in September 3, 2022) and my future projects. I received an offer to start a PhD program with total funding but I have to start it in summer semester or in fall semester of this year (my future advisor needs me as fast as possible). I am going to apply for a student visa if (hopefully) my I-130 is not approved earlier (my case is in Potomac SC, sadly). I will tell how my process goes if you want to have a reference. Take care of yourself.
  8. that are great news. I knew it, Potomac is slower than the other SC. But I am glad for you. You will receive an approval very soon. God bless you
  9. I am in Potomac too 😳 what is your PD? what is your processing time according to My USCIS?
  10. Potomac SC here! 16 months :'( I hope these new processing times will be for the new cases.
  11. my first AR was three days after we sent the application. Nothing more for now.
  12. Hey!! Mine also was transferred from Nebraska to Potomac, and our estimated time is 8 months by now.
  13. Hello! Nothing from our process too. My husband came and he was with me for holidays. Today he come back to USA, and it was the saddest moment. I still crying, I feel so alone now. Hope everything gets better.
