    My in laws who live in Syria and are Syrian nationals will be attending their interview for B2 visa in Beirut. While preparing for their interview I had a gut feeling we were suppose to apply to interview in Amman since they currently live in Syria. Can anyone confirm this or will it be ok to interview in Beirut?

    Hello, my husband and I went through the same situation. He wrote a letter of explanation stating why he could not get the police report from Syria with supporting documentation from a Syrian website that showed proof of the requirement to be in the military. This solution worked for our case and his visa was approved. Best of luck!
