  1. Hi, I don’t have birth certificate and my local city municipality in India is not providing any non availability of birth certificate as they don’t have any evidence. I have all the other school records, PAN card, and affidavits from parents stating born at home as secondary proof of my birth. Im currently in USA on H1B and My wife has submitted my family based green card application through direct filing and currently it is under processing. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do now so that I have enough evidence in hand for my birth certificate before the interview date. I am not sure the documents I have are enough or if anyone has recently faced similar situation, please share your experience. Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestion and feedback 🙏🏻
  2. Hi, my wife is a US citizen and we are filling petition for family-based green card. I am looking to file an Application for Travel Document form I-131 and the one that is available currently on the USCIS website says it expires on 04/30/2022 and that's the only form I can find to download. Can you please let me know how I can find an updated version of Form I-131 which is not expired? If there is none available, is it okay for us to use the one that is available and expired? Please let me know your opinion. Thanks in advance! Best, Raja
  3. Hi everyone, My wife is a US citizen and she is filing I-130 and I-485 concurrently for me. we both live in the USA. I need some help to clarify myself on I- questions 26.b, 26.c, and 27. My H1B visa expired in February 2021 and I have valid I-797A till 2024 which has I-94 number associated in it. However in my recent I-94 form pulled from online, my "Valid Admit Until Date" is my H1B expiry date which is February 2021. 1. For Question 26.B: "Expiration date of authorized stay as shown on form I-94?" - which date should I use here? My H1B expiration date (Feb 2021) or my renewed I-797A expiration date (Feb 2024)? Please let me know 2. For question 26.c, "Status on For I-94 (for example, class of admission or paroled, if paroled)"? - It is not letting me type H1B as it does not allow numeric numbers and giving me the error. What should I type in this box? 3. And for question 27, "What is your current immigration status if it has changed since your arrival?" - My last arrival in USA was in December 2019 and since my last H1B visa was expired in Feb 2021 and I didnt get it restamped, what should I type in this box? Should I put I-797A form expiration date which is Feb 2014 or should I type VISA OVERSTAY? Please let me know. I attached a screenshot of the actual questions as well, please let me know. Thank you in advance 🙏
  4. We both are in Oregon, USA. Not sure which office to choose for this question, they do Have USCIS office in Portland, OR, but I’m not not sure if they are looking for the USCIS office where we will send docs, like Nebraska or Texas or California.
  5. Hi, we are filing I-130 petition and in one of the questions, it is asking "At which USCIS office will the beneficiary apply for adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident?" We are filing in Oregon and are not sure which USCIS location to choose here. If anyone can please help or guide on which USCIS location to apply to and mail all our documents, that would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
