  1. @AgriSiva, @F2J_March , @ACC24 - Thank you for your inputs! Makes sense. We hope ours comes in as expected.
  2. We completed the landing. It was smooth. @ACC24 The officers did not take a pic of my son who is just 7 or his biometrics during the process. Is that common?
  3. Thank you! I hope so too, will share our experience once we land. Thanks!
  4. @ACC24 Thanks for sharing your experience. We are planning to do the final move later this summer after the school year is done. Is there any documents to carry other than the sealed packages, passports when this isn't the final move? Did you return back to Canada the same day after landing? Thank you!
  5. We went for our interview at Montreal and were issued the visa. The documents requested were those in the IL's required list. Many thanks to everyone in this community for sharing their experience, as it helped folks like me prep and stay hopeful.
  6. This is super helpful @3LabMom! Thank you and much appreciate you sharing your experience and this information with the group.
  7. Congratulations @3LabMom! Can I ask - did you need to carry a travel history document? We are Canadian citizens with extensive travel to US since DQ & DS260 filing - wondering if we need to carry travel history.
  8. Hi Paparazi - Hope all your family gets issued tomorrow. Do you mind sharing which sort of RCMP certificate is the wrong one? Thanks!
  9. Congratulations ACC24! Do you mind sharing what documents you carried for the interview - especially the originals?
  10. Thank you VA21202, this helps a lot and honestly what a great option if the spouse has a valid i-140! From what you said - after filing i-485 in person, in case one choses to come back to Canada (say still frequently travelling to US) with a valid H visa that should still be within the parameters. We will ask about the option with our lawyers as well. Thank you!
  11. Hello! I am new member to this forum, waiting for my turn in this slow moving CP line. Wanted to ask about applying for AOS in parallel with CP. VA21202, please correct me if I am wrong, I thought all applicants on the AOS need to reside in US for the application and for CP the primary applicant needs to reside in Canada. It will be very helpful to know how are you making this work? Is the primary for AOS residing in US and primary for CP residing in Canada? Thanks!
