I received my A# on my appointment letter. And I used it and my case ID to see if I have access to pay the visa. Which I had access. Is it okay to pay it now since I do have access to pay for the fee @Crazy Cat

@etrangais thank you because my interview was only july 19th 2022 and my case has been updated every week since. The dates: July 28, 2022 Aug 03, 2022 Aug 10, 2022 So im hoping i will hear from the consulate soon, because the Visa Office told me to wait 2-3 weeks after receiving the 221g form.

Hello, my case has been updated once every week, however the status is still refused. When they update your case, does it mean your almost at the finish line for Administrative Processing. @Crazy Cat

@JeanneAdil thank you so much, that gave me hope. Because we were confident that our case will be approved because we know everything we have uploaded and sent to the USCIS AND NVC are correct and not fraud and based on facts. Yes, we did receive the US phamlet, and the CO just told us that everything on their end is good just to wait for the DOS in Washington dc. So im hoping for a less timeframe to wait. God bless you.

@etrangais the same thing happened to a person i know who had the exact same situation as i did. And he only stood 3 weeks.

@etrangais they did not ask for copies, even we had. They just had the original documents and marriage evidence, and they handed it back to us.

What do you mean by they are not required to return anything back, so if they kept the documents that is a good sign?

Is the visa Officer supposed to hand back your original documents after the interview or do they only hand back if the visa is refused?

@Crazy Cat yes I understand, however i know people who had the same situation as i did but did not receive a white form stating their rights in america, and i know others who received everything like me but the Visa Officer requested more additional documents. Does this my case different from the others making it take less time?

The VISA officer handed back my original documents and gave me a white form explaining my rights in America, however handed me a yellow slip stating my case had to be please understand administrative processing because of the DOS in Washington DC. No additional documents were required. How long will it take resolve.

No he was not told to fill out a questionarie about his travel history. The US Consulate did not request any additional documents. He only told us that the DOS in Washington DC request them to put our case in administrative processing

It went well, i went in with him. I filled a CR1. And the US Consulate said that everything was okay but they had to refuse it because the DOS IN Washington DC stated it.
