@nbar Thank you. That's amazing! Wish that was our case. CO wanted me to reupload a document and said apart from that she could not see any problem and that I didnt need to go back to the embassy again.

Hi all, Is anyone here from Jersey Channel Island ? How long does it take for our passport to arrive from London once the visa (CR1) is issued please ? Thank you.

I just found on here that someone on VJ has been through this and she chose (with success) to “Enter the US before the expiry date to validate the VISA” as opposed to “Let the visa expire and make a written request to the Embassy for a new visa (and a new medical exam)”

What should/do I do if I have less than a month before visa expires? As I have to give my work 1 month notice. Currently I cant hand in my notice as I am still waiting for the visa to be issued. Wondering if anyone experienced this.

Good evening all, I am still waiting for CR1 visa which is in AP. My medical exam expires beginning of August (I believe this is when the visa expires too). I’m worried that if the Visa is issued mid July I will run of time to enter the U.S. as I need to give my work one month notice, organise shipping etc. Has anyone experienced such a tight window ? Thank you everyone.

Dear all, I had my interview April 5th, all went well and I did not need to go back to the embassy but the CO asked me to resubmit my husband divorce document from his previous marriage to CEAC as she could not see it in her system (she saw the original which I took with me). Once they looked at it and print it off, should be all good. I was advised this should take 1-2 weeks but today is Thursday of the 2nd week. I have done this on the same day and the next day to be sure. Does anyone have experienced this and how long did it take for the visa to be issued after you have resubmitted the requested document(s) please? Thank you so much.
