  1. My wife came to US as K-1 visa holder and her I-94, 90 day stamp, will expire in October.

She sent her AOS application recently.

Between October, after her I-94 expires, and time when she gets her green card,

how can she prove that she is here legally?

Does she need to carry NOA1 with her passport?

Just carrying driver's license is enough?

How did you or your spouse do?

    Thanks for your help!!!

  2. I'm preparing my wife's AOS package and it seems like required documents for I-765 & I-131 are quite simple.

So simple compare to I-129 or I-485 that I couldn't believe it.

Following is the list that I come up with.

Could you check if I'm missing something?

    For I-765

    I-765

    copy of passport

    copy of K-1 visa

    copy I-94

    2 photos

    For I-131

    I-131

    copy of passport

    copy of K-1 visa

    copy I-94

    2 photos

    Thanks a lot!!!

  3. In a FAQ section says...

It is sent to the USCIS (INS) district office closest to where you will reside, which will be the office handling your case once in the USA.

    1. If we move before submitting AOS application - Chicago to D.C., will the old office forward documents to the new office?

    2. My fiancee hasn't come to US yet. Should she ask POE officer to send documents to the new office?

I want to minimize the chance that our documents being lost during transfer.

    Thanks a lot!

  4. I've read on the forum, it took more than a month for a lot of March approved from CSC.

Does it still take that long?

I was approved on April 29th from CSC.

I called NVC this morning, waited about 5 min, and talked to a real person.

    NVC hasn't received my case.

From her voice, I could feel that she was not happy that I didn't wait for 4 weeks.

How could I wait for 4 more weeks?

She was helpful, though, explaining details of changing address for the beneficiary.

  5. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/

On the right side, it states that petitions with NOA1 date of December 17, 2007 from CSC are currently being processed.

I understand that this statistics is based on the input of VJ members.

Past couple days, there wasn't any NOA2 from CSC.

And only a few December filers got their NOA2 so far.

Then why does it say mid-December filers are being processed?

CSC seems dead, and I'm getting impatient.
