Uscis approved our petition but ask us to fill I824 cos UN that was filled on 46a. We are 100% sure that we did fill anything and i have read teo persons experiencing the same thing with online filling. Please if you had such experience can you share and what you did?. I don't want to add another year to this process. We are doing consular processing. Thanks

It was just a typographic error. Can they use that as reason for I-824?

Hi everyone A little background on my previous question. Our I-130 petition got approved june and from the letter we got uscis requested we file I-1824 in order for them to send our petition to nvc. They stated we indicted both adjustment of status and consular processing on our I-130. Looking carefully into the form we submitted we didn't see any where we indicted that. I attached a screenshot of our form. We tried to reach uscis live agent for weeks but we got through last week and the agent said it was because on what was written on 46a. I have attached that for you guys to see. Finally my wife a usc spoke to a lawyer today and he said it wasn't our mistake that it is from uscis. Please i need your advice on what to do. We have waited for a year to get our petition approved and we can wait fir another year to fix this.

This is the only part i saw on the I130 form and we didn't indicate that we want to adjust our status. Am i missing something?

Thank you for your response. I have the I-130 electronic form here with me and i have checked through the form that we submitted. I didn't say any part where we checked both. Can you please tell me the number it is on the I-130 form. Please help

From my previous post i stated that my wife who is an America citizen petitioned I-130 for me. I live in Nigeria. We got our notice of approval from uscis on 1st of July and since thrn we have been waiting for uscis to send our application to nvc since then. Someone told me to check i797 well to see what was writtem there. Unfortunately when i checked i saw something i didn't understand. Please help me out on what to do .

Please guys who can i do? We got notice mail from uscis on the 1st of July that our petition has been approved and they have forwarded it to nvc. Till date we haven't receive welcome letter from nvc. I have send several inquiries to nvc and they kept saying they haven't receive anything. We try to call Emma but it couldn't speak to anyone just machine response. Please what can we do? How long does it take after approval to receive welcome letter NVC? Thanks

She just got a teaching job with America school Abuja an assisted school with Department of State. My question is how will i proof domcile in USA when i go for interview since she will be working here in Nigeria for a long? Also can i stay with her here without abandonment of my LPR in usa cos i want to stay with her? Lastly 319(b) apply to me? Thanks

Please i have a question. My friend (male) got married to a usc last year. She petitioned I-130 late last year and they are yet to be approved. The wife is pregnant and he want to know if there is any procedure to get paternity for the child. The wife is in usa while he is in Nigeria. He want to have his name on the child birth certificate.
