  1. Hi all...

I'm a Canadian citizen (beneficiary) and my fiance, an American (petitioner). Canadians and Americans alike travel between our countries all the time without a need for a visa to visit, only a passport or other proof of citizenship. I'm wondering if it is OK to visit my fiance while we are waiting for the K-1 to process. We both live relatively close to the border and travel on the weekend about once a month to see each other. Most of the time I will drive down to the US to visit him.

During the K-1 interview when they ask when was the last time I was in the US and I tell them it was a month ago, for example... is that a problem? I haven't had any trouble crossing the border, in fact, they recognize me and wave me through half the time because I have been visiting for years now.

I'm getting all paranoid reading some stuff on here and just wanted to make sure it is OK to visit. Any thoughts?

    Anyways... any advice/info is appreciated.

    Thanks!
