  1. Thanks! I think if the beginning three alpha characters of your number are "MSC" that means it went to the National Benefits Center. I would think you would see a status update of being forwarded to local field office if that's the action that was taken on your case...but I'm not any sort of expert. Also, update, we got our I-797 notice of approval in the mail on Friday 3/23. So it legitimately took almost exactly 2 months from our submission to receiving approval letter in the mail. Unreal turnaround time in a good way for once!
  2. This is so crazy that I had to share regarding our AOS timeline...but this also proves that there is no rhyme or reason as to order of how things get processed by USCIS. - We mailed our AOS packet to Carol Stream Illinois on January 17th, 2023 - Marked by USCIS as received on January 25th, 2023 - Biometrics taken on February 21, 2023 - No interview was ever done - Case went to approved status on March 17th, 2023 It took two months exactly from date mailed to AOS approval. We live in Nebraska and it is marriage based AOS from K1. Our case went straight to National Benefits Center and was never forwarded to local field office. Good luck to everyone!!
  3. Hey what did you guys do for your I-134? I'm confused on what to do for this step...does the below mean we're done? Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Congrats! This is great to hear! Approved 30 days after In Transit email from NVC right? 😃
  5. That's strange. We followed the steps on travel.state.gov and already filled out the DS-160 using the link on this page https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-fiance-k-1.html It's when we go to pay the fee below is when we didn't know what to do because it asks for your invoice number. https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx --> after you enter your case number it asks for your invoice number which we don't have.
  6. Thanks! How did you pay your DS-160 application fee without your invoice ID? The document sent to me via email only had our NVC case number. We're a bit confused. Thanks for any help!
  7. Thanks man, also let us know how you get an interview scheduled...we obviously will probably run into the same issues.
  8. That's very strange and not something we wanted to hear when we're right behind you guys...😰 On another note, did your fiance take the criminal record in only Estonian or did you guys have it translated to English? Also, did your fiance have it mailed to her or just printed it out from digital delivery?
  9. We just got an email from our Senator's Counsel & Constituent Services. They have been helping us get answers throughout the process. Here's what they received about our case from their official inquiry with NVC: Thank you for your email concerning the immigrant visa petition filed with the assigned U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) receipt number WAC2190074xxx. The National Visa Center (NVC) received this immigrant visa petition on September 5, 2022. We are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 22-Aug-22. We will notify all parties on this case with further processing instructions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ So it looks like it's taking USCIS about 40+ days to get cases to NVC as we were approved on 7/22/22. Also, as of 9/16/22 they are working cases received on 8/22/22.
  10. Thanks for the info! I'm sure you can get that scheduled here in Estonia fairly quickly, yes? Let us know!
  11. Great to hear! Hopefully we get ours either today or Sep 27th since we're two weeks behind you in regard to USCIS approval!
  12. Thanks for the update! We've also been working with our state Senator's office; honestly I think they helped us get the I-129F approval as our RFE response had just been sitting there for 75+ days. They closed our case at the Senator's office after our I-129F approval on 7/22 but I just reached back out to them again on Monday to help again with an NVC inquiry. The lady there has been extremely helpful and it'll be interesting to see if she gets the same information you got from your congressional rep. And yes I agree on the "progress", it's the small victories for us at this point and it's just nice to have anyone express interest in helping. That's sad to say but it's true. Thanks again!
  13. They had our RFE for 72 days and we were at 465 total! Now another wait for NVC case number...
  14. @Mari_Justin keep in touch through your process with Estonia embassy. We have NOA2 7/22 so we're hopefully right behind you!
  15. We have been waiting 48 days now...USCIS received our RFE response on 5/11/22. It seems like we are, unluckily, one of the longest waits I've seen in regard to an approval from RFE.
  16. I'm sorry...😑 Even smaller world, I was also there for 3 months and just got back the middle of May! I plan on going back as well once we get approved at USCIS! I think we started this process at the WORST time possible. To think, if only we had submitted two months earlier we'd probably be done with this process. Instead we're heading into month 15...I've never seen such an inept group when it comes to inventory management. I work in that same type of field and it just drives me crazy how poorly they manage/work their inventory. Every day is like Groundhog's Day refreshing the app and watching updates. Very defeating.
  17. If it makes you feel any better, we sent our RFE response on 5/11/22...47 days later and still nothing... Also, small world, my fiancé is from Estonia as well!
