    SUCCESSFUL IMPORT I bought a TMPS from Amazon, had it "installed" by my local Hyundai service center and received an invoice. The officer at the Sarnia border looked at our documents and said we had everything needed, he filled out the 3 forms, we paid the duty, and he gave us the clearance paperwork. The officer did not even go out to look at the vehicle or the TPMS. We were on our way in less than 20 minutes. ***I don't think he cared to check the TPMS because the invoice was from Hyundai itself.

    My husband’s passport was requested on Sept 15 and was received at the embassy on Sept 20. Few weeks went by with no updates. My husband emailed the embassy 2 wks ago and they responded last week saying they never received his passport. So he emailed back with the tracking and delivery confirmation with signature… well… visa was issued today!!! On our 2 year anniversary!! point of the story… email them to make sure they are reviewing the documents you send!

    Did they keep the passport at the interview or did you send it in? My husband and I are in the same situation. They requested resume and we were issued DS5535. They requested the passport pin September 15…but no updates yet.

    No they gave all the documents back after interview. They wanted to see the resume to look at job duties...maybe because he's a chemical engineer.

    Montreal requested to send in my hubby’s passport today! Our interview was August 1st, 2022….exactly 6 weeks after getting 221g and sending back the DS-5535!! Any timeline for passport return after sending it via Canada Post? thank you!!!!

    Yes, he is a PR. We were unaware of the resume recommendation for PRs. thank you for your answer! It will make this wait a little more bearable

    Are you allowed to travel to the US on a visitor visa (B1/B2) if your case is in administrative processing and you’ve filled out the DS-5535? My hubby had his interview on Aug. 1 and was put into AP because he didn’t have his resume😩 Since when do they ask for a resume for a Spousal visa?
