  1. I remember when i first visited the Philippines i overstayed by two days i didn't get in trouble no one gave me a hard time. I changed my flight schedule.

My fiance overstayed here in hes first visit, and ended up paying 20 buck in the airport uggg, luckily he got some friends to lend him some $.. Well better safe than sorry. Hard to play games like this.

  2. I went to a local immigration officer and got an extension on my visa. I think they give the extensions in 59 day segments. I cost about 50 bucks and you need a couple of passport photos.

You did that in US or PI?

I did it in Iligan on Mindanao about 18 days after I arrived. Was really easy.

May i know what office in Iligan did you went? I am from iligan too and im wondering where did you get your visa extension here so i can advise my friends fiance to have it done also, is it in PAL office infront of a mercury drug? please let me know so i can advise my friend..

My fiance had hes visa extension in sf, USA.

  3. I've been wondering about chat logs too.

I have chat logs of conversations with my hubby going back to august 2005 (i did have more on my old computer but that died and I lost them). I have 40 log files, and each file would be about 40-50 pages printed ... that's 1400 -2000 pages  There's no way I could print out all of that ... I don't suppose they would accept it on a disk?

Not sure for photos either

    I'll probably organise everything in a clear file ... maybe 2 ...

I'm not much help am I?

No need to print all those chat logs, just print 5 pages each of the first month, middlest, and the current chat logs. The consul wont give time to read too many pages.

About the photos, just present 2-3 pictures for each visit, you may put it in a bond paper and add some caption like date, place etc.

hope i helped, you may also look for the site i had given above.

  4. Hi everyone,

I have a few questions. I remember I have read somewhere about the consulars do not want the benificary to bring photo albums to the interview. I'm wondering

    1. How did you bring the pictures to the interview? Did you put all in the bag or did you glue two on to an 8.5x11 paper with the decription on the bottom of each picture?

    2. How many pictures did you bring? Did you bring everything you have or just the selected ones? because I have more than 400 of them from the two trips and planning to go back before her interview.

    also .....

    3. For other evidences like phone bills, emails, chat logs, snail mails etc......Did you put in the binder or how did you do it?

    4. For those who has used yahoo chat as evidence...How did you print it out?

I have read serveral topics on what was brought to the interview but not how it was organized. I'm preparing all the evidence ahead of time but can't decide which way to go. I would like to learn how did you bring all your evidence to the interview. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.
