    LPR status really makes a difference in getting an Interview and also in getting the visa after Interview. I am a US citizen andwhen I filed for my husband three years ago I learned that a visa is always available for US citizen spouse and priority dates does not apply. After all documents are submitted to NVC. They took three months fto process the documents for my husband and sent him an Interview letter within three months of accepted documents. For my other relatives that only have green cards process took much much longer.

    Hello. I am in the same scenario as you were for my parents visa. i did not to fill out question 62 to mention Islamabad Punjab, Pakistan. Now they are asking for I-824 to send to NVC. Can you please tell on what documents did you attach with your I-824? I am only suppose to send the notice of action and form or should I attach other documents such as thier passport copies with it aswell? Also, Did you file the form I-824 on your behalf as the petitioner or your husband as the applicant ?
