  1. Thank you very much, of course. I showed these suggestions to my relatives today. Hope God helped them.
  2. Hi Thank for your answer, Yeah I'm not excusing anyone. At this point in the problem, rather than finding a solution, I'm telling exactly what happened so that it may be of help to others.
  3. the forms were signed by the ''Lawyer'' they never were asked to sign anything. If they would, they would check everything at that time and not signed
  4. Thank you very much I really agree with you, looking for a way to clarify it would be great!I just don't know if that's possible
  5. Good morning! thanks for your kind suggestion. Nope, they just asked her if she was single or married, she said Single because she is not married with the father of her kids. When you say: visas void why others? she is the one with that huge mistakes. OTHER Thanks god are just minor issues like wrong city name of birth on their mothers etc..
  6. Hello Canandian_ Wife, good morning. Yes, It's sad..at this stage my cousin has his IV vissa but the Ds 260 with ''No children'' I do not know how would she fix it or if it's possible to do something. I was wondering if she should just no travel and maybe to her father start a petition from scratch
  7. Hello guys, I'm here to post about the first experience of my family members trying to go to U.S. I find this forum useful; moving to U. S is a hard matter if you don’t know the the right way to do this stuff. I want to share this experience to hear your opinions and perhaps save the process of some who may be victims of fake lawyers like my family was. Please do not judge me or my family.. we were just naive with this fake lawyer and we thought everything would go smoothly and properly with a professional. This post will be detailed, so that before starting your process, please verify the person you hire, even if they have an office, certificates and advertising. My relatives were victims of a fraudulent lawyer. This person even has a ’' LEGAL OFFICE’’ in the U.S.; the bad luck was, this ‘’crook’’ A.K. A fake lawyer processed the whole petition of 9 persons (very sad) none of us knew about visa applications or how to fill them out nor from this process.(8/9 of my family members have their IV visas Issued) the last one in the pending process of interview is my younger brother and thanks to him , all my relatives reviewed their applications made by this previous fake lawyer. He miraculously preferred to hire an attorney his best friend suggested to him, this attorney was about to process only his i864 but his attorney was proactive and wanted to review his DS 260, and bang! he found mistakes on my father's information. He will be able to correct it at the interview but my other 8 relatives already had their interview.. even so, he suggested to my family members to check their forms.I would like to mention that my relatives did not even know how to check their Ds 260 in Ceac. So, this new lawyer did that for all of them. The nightmare began when the 8 discovered that they had errors, from minor to significant.. ALL HAD mistakes . The biggest mistake we identified now is with another relative. This false lawyer decided not to add that she has children. My relative SENT all her info to the lawyer to fill it these forms, and she sent her children’s name, DOB etc, everything. But this FAKE Lawyer decided simply choose the option NO CHILDREN.😡 She is single, but she has kids.. (The visa is for unmarried children of children of American citizen, I mean derivatives) So, she needs to be single but she can have kids. She looked at the DS 260 PDF the lawyer sent before the interview but the child's question was missing from the PDF he sent (so I guess, the false lawyer noticed something and HID IT) my relative dind’t know something was wrong since in the interview, the CO. did not ask her about having children, only about her marital status. This self- called lawyer filled out the DS 260 forms with the name of each of my family members without adding himself as an attorney/ preparer. Also, she filled the sponsors forms without the preparer/laywer information; she just wrote in the form that they filled it out by themself. So it was suspicious to find that this lawyer never wrote her name on anything she prepared. BIG FINDING this person wasn't a lawyer is just scamming people doesn’t have any credential or knowledge for that reason never add her name. She has a fake office and advertising as a lawyer. For that reason, I said FAKE lawyer each time I wrote about her because she stated she was a lawyer and billed us like one. When my cousin wrote to this scamming lawyer, the fake lawyer answered that what she did was not wrong and it does not cause any problems because she was the one traveling no her kids she even charged my cousin 100$ that she stills owed her. Obviously, after confronting her about her bad job, she disappeared. At this stage of the journey, I wonder if my family member should travel to the U.S.A or not? As I understand it is a serious problem that would make her never be able to petition her children or get married. Worse still, risking her status if she does. Her children are very young and she hoped to petition them one day but with this mistake, a new lawyer said she couldn't do it. Do you think it's better for her for just wait another relative maybe her dad a LPR petition her? and just losing this IV visa granted by her grandmother? Is there any hope in such related cases? I don't know if it was a good idea to realize this before traveling or not, we are heartbroken...😢
