  1. Thankyou everybody for the wishes!

I had submited PCCs, marraige photographs, proof of realtion stuffs to VFS. I got all these back along with all orginals submitted to NVC earlier.

You need to carry your spouse latest tax documents (eg. 2007) for interview. They are asking everybody !!

Also check if your PCCs submitted/carried to consulate is with in the time limit (eg 6 months) or else u need to get new ones before interview to avoid delay.

Carry your marriage albums to interview...they don't ask always but!!

Medical is simple; and nothing to worry if you do not have vaccination records; they give few shots depending on your age.

    GOOD LUCK!!

  2. HI All,

I got my visa approved on 28th!! Thankyou all VJs for your support; especially mgk & ELW. Wishing all future applicants good luck & faster processing.

The interview was smooth & i got the following questions from the visa officer:

    1. When did u meet your spouse first?

    2. Have you travelled to any other countries before? if so for what?

    3. What do you intent to work once in US?

    4. Have u left your current job?

    5. Where does ur spouse live in US? wht is ur spouse doing?

    and many more similar questions.....

Pls let me know if you need any detailed info ...........Good luck to all!!

  3. On seeing your child hood vaccination record, the physician will determine which all vaccinations you should be given as per ur age and other factors.

You can tell your medical history when they ask; if you have a record its good, otherwise also itz fine.

  4. Hi neethope,

Immunizations is very simple and nothing to worry; Collect a certificate/record for the vacinations taken now and show it to the panel physician along with the reports you get from lab. He will determine if you require anymore vaccinations as per ur age. If he gives anymore vacinations he will charge you seperately for that. If you don't have any records you need to take all vacinations which ever they suggest.

VFS: atleast 3 days before interview you need to pay a fee of rs 365/- to VFS and hand over any documents requested by consulate/NVC; like any orginals, proof of relation stuffs. You can also carry such documents for interview straight.

  5. So sorry to hear your story, you could have asked the CO whether you can produce a govt certificate proving that ur marriage is Genuine or can't you submit a new registered marriage certifficate?

Cancelling and appling again via I-130 will be tougher now...again it would take another 10 months even for a interview; i would suggest if nothing else works, ask your spouse to come down & do a registered marriage fresh and file DCF in India and you will be done in 3 months.

good luck & pray that God shows an easy way out.
