  1. Hi Y'all. I was just checking my emails and had an email from Lawfully saying congratulations on your approval, I said...what approval? I signed on to USCIS and both our I-485 and I-130 got approved yesterday, 4/20, no interview or anything! We filled on December 14, 2021, and had two RFEs. This was truly a surprise! Hang in there, hopefully everyone gets some movement in there cases! <333333
  2. Still waiting ove here. Our FO is in Hartford, CT, my husband received his EAD and AP 74 days ago, all else is still being actively renewed.
  3. Finally a bit of good news! Yesterday the status for my husband's EAD changed to card is being produced. So grateful that he will finally get his work visa after 11 months. No change whatsoever for the I-131 since USCIS received the case 332 days ago. Hoping that a little bit of movement in our case means that something is brewing for the I-485! I hope everyone is hanging in there 🙏
  4. No updates whatsoever. My partner's grandmother is not doing well, and it is heartbreaking not knowing when he can visit her. 8-14 months is 'within the normal timeframe' here in Connecticut for the I-485- and it's absolutely maddening thinking it may be till February till we have any movement. I don't know what is up with the EAD and AP, I really hope we hear something soon.
  5. Has anyone made any progress this month? Seems like another month passed with no new notices.
  6. I got two letters for the original RFE, needing me to resubmit - Evidence of joint spouses status: I resent my fathers biometric passport page -Evidence of relationship between beneficiary and petitioner: I resent out marriage certificate (although the request misstated our relationship as a parent or stepparent relationship) - Evidence to establish petitioner as United States citizen: I resent my long form birth certificate -Lastly it requested that we resend out form I-130 as it was incorrectly signed by my husband: My lawyer reviewed it and said everything was in order and sent along an explanation
  7. Hi All! I was hoping someone could help clarify this very confusing chain of events that happened today. April 1 2022-- We were sent a request for initial evidence for form 1-485 We sent back all the evidence two weeks ago and I was so happy when this morning our status finally changed to: We received your response to Form I-485 to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status However......that relief was quickly turned into confusion because only a couple hours later our status again became: Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent! I am so confused, I do not know if this is a technical error or a mistake as to whoever is reviewing our file? Or is this a possibility? Any bit of advice would be greatly appreciated! Just for context we initially sent everything in December 2021, and had a biometrics appointment in January 2022. Thanks!
