So my wife went to the interview at the embassy, and they asked her to do Ds 5535, 1- She has only Algerian passport and they asked if she had other passports, couple years ago she renewed the old one and there is no way to get the passport number, what should we do? 2- she traveled with the old passport but she doesn't remember the exact dates, can we put approximative dates? (She stayed 28 days in that country) 3- how long ds 5535 takes to be approved? Thank you in advance

Hello beautiful people, Visa type: spouse of US citizen I am US citizen filing for my wife (Algerian citizen) After a long and frustrating wait for i130 (for my wife) approval, I actually got approved on 31st of May, now I got an email from NVC with the account number and invoice number. When I applied for i130 my wife lived in France so I put her french address but during the process she moved back to Algeria, so when I logged in NVC website I found: ("interview location: Paris") 1-So how can I change the interview location to Algeria? 2- and does this delay the interview date? Hello beautiful people, I filed for my spouse on June 6, 22 Got my citizenship on Oct 27, 22 Called USCIS to update my spouse's status from wife of resident to wife of citizen on Nov 1, 22 They sent me a letter on Dec 1, 22 asking me to send a copy of my citizenship certificate and a letter to demand the update of status. My certificate I send it for passport, and I don't have a copy until now they didn't send it back. On my USCIS account they say processing time 5 months. My question is: 1- is this gonna delay the process? 2- are they gonna consider the time from June till now? 3- can we apply for a visit visa for her meanwhile so if they make any delay we have a back up plan? If yes what type of visa should we apply for? Thank you very much in advance.

Hello beautiful people, In June I applied for my wife to bring her to the US, and now I just got my citizenship, I called the USCIS to change my status but the lady said that she doesn't know the effect of the upgrade if it gonna make the decision faster or longer. And when I logged in to my account I found processing time 7 months but the lady said it's 2 years. What do advice me guys? Thank you in advance

And is the time consumed from June to now will make the witing time shorter or no effect? (Knowing that usually it takes 2 years for resident, and just 1 years for citizens) Thank you in advance
