  1. We got approved on February. My theory is that now it greatly varies depending on your state and local office, and not so much in the month youโ€™ve sent your case. As RFEs sometimes are handled by local offices directly. It could be more useful to filter the cases that are in the same CIS (local office) than you to see how other cases are moving.
  2. Yayyy!!!! Thatโ€™s awesome!!!! Congratulations guys ๐Ÿฅฐ How long it took since submission? Which is your local office? Time to celebrate now ๐Ÿฅ‚
  3. There's a lot of people that lately get their greencards approved before their EAD. Depending on your location you might receive your GC directly instead of the AP and the EAD. Just let 2 or 3 months to pass.
  4. Thank you! If there's anything I can help you with please let me know.
  5. My greencard was delivered today! Time to take vacations from USCIS. Good luck everyone! Hope your cases adjudicate soon ๐Ÿ™
  6. I also had a delay on the MyUSCIS website, I received 3 emails and for more than a day it didnโ€™t reflect changes, then my I-485 changed to โ€œCase Approvedโ€. Today my AP status changed to โ€œCase Was Terminatedโ€. Iโ€™m not sure how USCIS is sending notifications and not updating the website recordsโ€ฆ but youโ€™ll probably see yours soon.
  7. My case changed to "Card Was Produced" today! Hopefully I'll receive the card next Monday and will be able to take a 2 year vacation from immigration haha. Let me know how your case goes!
  8. Congratulations! Just in the right moment! Keep me updated regarding how fast they ship your greencard, I'm still waiting for my case to change to "Card Is Being Produce". Now go celebrate!!! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰
  9. Thank you!!! Correct, my interview was skipped. They sent me an RFE for my medical exam and they approved my AOS right after they received my response. Crossing my fingers for everyone else waiting from the group!! Seems things are moving way more faster now ๐Ÿคž
  10. My AOS got approved today! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ A day after my RFE was marked as received ๐Ÿ˜ญ I'm so happy!!!!
  11. My RFE response was received today Feb 13th according to USCIS, USPS dropped the package on Feb 1st. Hopefully I'll have news soon ๐Ÿฅฒ
  12. The RFE was sent from the LA office and requested me to reply to it sending the package to the LA office. So they already have my case at my local office
  13. If he has a job offer already he could submit an expedite request! Is that a possibility? He just needs a formal hiring proposal letter. I hope they keep the numbers up
  14. My RFE arrived today to my local office in Los Angeles, does anyone know how long it takes to change to RFE Was Received or something similar?
  15. Haha I don't think it does! But I feel you, this whole immigration process is such a detriment for everyone's well-being in so many levels. My RFE was sent from my local office and requested me to send the response to there, hence my AOS is being handled by them already. It only passed 17 days between the RFE and my biometrics, so 17 days to have my case transferred to my local office. I am sure this is going to be the case for everyone that filled their case correctly during December, so keep us updated about yours!!!
  16. I only received my EAD but my AOS is already in the field office, I received an RFE to send the medical exams from there so I assume they are not sending the APs because theyโ€™re approving the new greencards faster. Thatโ€™s my assumption. Iโ€™ve only seen combo cards or AP+EADs approved for those that have been waiting longer than 6 months in the latest stats. If you have an emergency you can always ask for an expedite though!
  17. Ok then let's do the following to understand if they might be sending you an RFE or they're just delayed. You should go to your USCIS Online account, scroll until you see your I-485 case, go to the "documents" tab, and check if you have the following documents in your file (they might be in the same file or separated as there's no order in how they scan your case): Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) Copy of birth certificate of your sponsor (who signed your affidavit of support) Form I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) Copy of I-797 Notice of Action (Approval Notice) for the I-129F petition Copy of your marriage certificate Copy of your birth certificate Translation from your native language to English of birth certificate (if needed) Copy of your passport biographic page Copy of your passport K1 VISA page and admission stamp Copy of your I-94 admission record for travel in the U.S. Copy of your Form DS-3025 (Vaccination Documentation Worksheet) Your proof of bona fide relationship and proof of address Tax documents If you do have these and your medicals/tax documents are well completed then is very rare that they'll send you an RFE and I would definitely contact them asking why your biometrics are not scheduled yet. I would recommend to try via Emma in the afternoon, but any way works. Hope this helps โ˜€๏ธ
  18. Ok we should go step by step. First let's focus on your I-485, your NOA1 should be Jan 3rd but you didn't receive anything on the mail yet. I would ask USCIS via Emma to send your NOA1 again, you can say in the chat "notice of receipt not received via mail". Normally what would happen is that a couple of days after you receive a notification of your NOA1 via text message and email, you receive the NOA1 in your mail. A week after you would receive your USCIS account access and some days after this your biometrics appointment. If your NOA1 was on Jan 3rd, you should already have your biometrics scheduled at this point, so I would try to contact them again asking for all these papers. Secondly, once you get your USCIS online account and you are able to see the why of your rejection notice you can re-submit your EAD and AP. As your I-485 was already accepted, you might want to try submitting for these online instead of via paper. I heard is faster, but you'll have to pay again the fees. Hope this is useful!
  19. Ok let's rewind. You said your EAD and AP were rejected for some reason but your AOS I-485 was accepted, did you receive your NOA1 for your I-485 already?
  20. Did you got access to your USCIS online account? If you do, your rejection notice should be there.
  21. Hey! Replying to your questions: 1. Your household size is correct in the way you put it. If you only live with your new husband then the count of 2 is what should be there, so you don't have any problems with that. 2. For the tax return, if you already submitted yours and it's available in the IRS website then yes, submit the 2022 records too. 3. Please send EVERYTHING again regarding the affidavit of support. It's better to have things filed twice than hoping for them to do the right decision, leave no room for doubt. Include the following documents (you can download item 2, 3 and 4 from the IRS website): Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the INA) Tax Return with form 1040 (latest) Tax Return Transcript (for the past 3 years) Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement (latest) Employment letter Last four (4) months pay-stubs Biographic page of passport of the petitioner Copy of birth certificate of the petitioner
  22. If you have a job offer, after 2 weeks you can ask for expedite using "financial loss" as reason. If they accept it and request more evidence, write a letter saying that not accepting that job offer is making your family loose money, attach the job offer and that's it. If you don't have one, I'd wait at least 3 months.
  23. I received today an RFE for my I-485 form saying that I have to go to a civil surgeon to re-do my medical exams. Checking the vaccination and health sheet that I submitted, I can see that the doctor from my home country forgot to check the correct option in the section 3, she left all of those empty. I wrote to the doctor to see if there's anything she can do to fix this mistake but I am pretty sure she'll tell me to just do the required exams with a civil surgeon here. I'm so MAD, I would be less mad if'd have gotten an RFE because of a mistake I MADE instead of someone else. But it is what it is... At least I know they're reviewing my case.
