  1. I was finally able to view the missing documents page and I resubmitted the proper document from the proper issuing agency. I hope I get lucky and get DQd in less than 60 days but at least I know I'm almost there. My AOS documents were all accepted.
  2. What is odd is under my name "Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence" - it says INCOMPLETE, but there are no messages referencing anything about AOS. And under my wife's name "Civil Documents" it says INVALID DOC. Problem is every time i click on either one it gives me an error and logs me out. Ive tried to login using multiple browsers, phone, ipad etc. Anyone have experience with this? Could there be a delay and they also will request something with my AOS documents?
  3. Thanks. I appreciate it. Does anyone know if this means there will be no additional RFE’s regarding other submissions? So everything else I sent in was OK and they just need this one document and I’ll be DQ’d?
  4. I just checked it and I think you’re exactly right. Our certificate is from the religious courthouse but they want it from the interior ministry. Annoying but I guess I understand.
  5. Just got an email from NVC and got an RFE for marriage certificate. I definitely uploaded it. The site keeps erroring out. I will try again later or tomorrow.
  6. My submission date was 17-08-22. I think a response will be in this week or early next. I just hope I don't get a dreaded RFE. My embassy interview dates are avg 12-24 months from DQ. So I have so much longer to wait...
  7. There is no chance they will look at it today. Some people say it takes another 2 months for them to review, but I have seen some people say within a few days or couple weeks. Good Luck!
  8. Im in it i was looking at it 2 days ago and got frustrated and didnt find any useful information. thats so good to hear! i hope they keep banging them out...
  9. Where do you get this info from? It's so hard to find anything about Amman.
  10. It is much cheaper to get a local government certified translator. I did this in Amman, Jordan and paid $25 for 8 documents. The translator has a license and will notarize and swear that the translation is correct. They should provide you with hard copy and a pdf file that you can easily upload to NVC. Ask around you will find one easily. I asked near the local university and I quickly found 5 different translators.
  11. Have you DQ'd yet? Do you know how embassy appointments in Amman are going? There aren't too many ways to get info about Amman.

  12. When I submitted my evidence, I included my airline tickets to visit my wife, two pages of photos from our wedding, outings, hanging out and nothing else. I would suggest you do something similar, you may include some chats but I don't think its necessary. Some people overdo it, but for i130 you should keep it short and sweet. Once you reach NVC stage then the messages may help you.
  13. From what I’ve read yes. That’s correct. It’s how I did it for my wife.
  14. Most important thing is to have your I-864 AOS (HAND WRITE your signature and the date) , taxes and W-2’s (last 3 years) and husbands documents from DR ready to submit with official English translations. Have him keep the originals and submit scanned copies. Make sure when you scan documents they are all straight and not sideways and they are not cut off or blurry. ( all those reasons will cause NVC to send you RFE ) I also sent in my drivers license, bank statements, a utility bill, my property tax payment. I thought it couldn’t hurt to give them more than they asked.
  15. The morning my fees posted to my bank it still said IN PROCESS. The following day in the afternoon it changed to PAID.
  16. Have you submitted the required documents to NVC yet? I just finalized all of mine today and am curious what to expect now…
  17. It is just a document you can type out and then fill in the blanks with a pen. For example “I, ____(your name)____, residing at ____(your address)____, appeared in person before the undersigned notary public and under oath make the following statements:” Then list your birthday, birth country, citizenship, passport number, divorce date and state you are currently single and able to remarry. Make sure it’s notarized and that should suffice.
  18. Yes 2022. I think yours is around the corner! I gave up hope last month to be honest then I stopped checking status and I don’t know what told me to check the other day but when I did it was approved. I prayed for you and everyone else. This is torture I know. But once it’s done it’s done.
  19. I did it all at once in May 2021. So 9 months after sending in my petition. I was just so frustrated waiting. I’m not sure it helped with the speed but maybe with approval once they got to my case.
  20. No. I filed normal and waited. I uploaded pictures and airline tickets and money transfer receipts. I think you will get approved very soon. 1 year is what everyone was telling me, I refused to believe it at the time.
  21. Sounds easy enough. Thank you. Does the online account tell me what documents i need to submit?
  22. I got AR a month after my PD date. 2nd AR was today and approval today! My first AR was when my case was transferred from Potomac to California. I have no idea what to do next tho... what thread should I read on the next steps? I probably should have figured this out beforehand...
  23. I just checked my account and found it Actively reviewing and checked documents and found my approval! Thank God!!! Almost 1 full year later.
  24. My GE application was just approved. That should help me whenever I return from overseas. Last time in O’hare it took 2 hours to pass thru customs. I just read an article written this year about USCIS purposely taking longer to process requests because if they did them quickly they wouldn’t have justification for annual budget increases. It’s a sick game these people play with others lives and happiness. Thanks for the reply.
