    Thanks so much for the link. I had two or three staff try to figure out how to issue my “limited term DL” previously. Once they figured it out was straight forward. Fortunately I just had to pay $, no exam other than eye test. I anticipate some issues when I renew with extension letter as they don’t seem to get many requests where I live.

    Wyoming (our lawyer & USCIS office are located in Denver area). I did ask our lawyer about the DL thing and he couldn’t say what the DMV does on that, especially as we’re in another state etc.

    Hello, Looking for feedback for those who used their extension letter to renew state driver’s license. I’ve noted posts about travel with extension letters but couldn’t see mention of acceptance by DMV etc. I realize this may vary state to state.
