  1. My mom had her interview July 12, 2022. No questions were asked but they found my birth certificate hard to read. They asked for my birth certificate from our Local Civil Registry, in the city where I was born. So we got everything and mailed back to them together with my mom’s passport via LBC. Now, I am just waiting. I checked status in CEAC , it just says ready. At the same time worried of the medical that will be expiring Aug 22. Hoping to here from them soon. Anyone here who has the similar experience?

You are worrying for nothing.  Like I said, a submitted DS-260 does not expire.  The expiration date on the upper right-hand corner of the form is the OMB expiration date, which is internal to the federal government and irrelevant to users -- https://www.state.gov/key-topics-office-of-directives-management/information-collections/how-to-identify-omb-approved-state-department-information-collections/

    Ok then 😁

A submitted DS-260 does not expire.  If some of the answers on the DS-260 are now outdated, they can be updated at the document screening step at the visa interview.  If too many entries need to be updated, you may request USEM to re-open the DS-260 for update prior to the interview.

I’m not sure if it expired. I read somewhere, when you log in the ceac. You can see the status/expiration on the top right corner. I checked yesterday. There’s nothing about the expiration.

I’m pretty sure my mom’s ds 260 has no outdates. I remember questions are more of personal information.

Just want to know if your mom's ds-260 form got expired? i just noticed today after all the searching on the internet trying to find answers how to reschedule interview apt that my dad's ds-260 form was expired on April 30, 2022. We have exact situation, my dad finally got his sputum result on may 20th and he was cleared and was told he can reschedule his interview. We've visited that link where you can check any available slots for interview and we are always out of luck. I was also told since May 20, 2022 they suspended telephone inquiry in the Philippines. My dad's Medical exam result will expire on August 18, 2022.

    Hello

We’re almost the same. My mom medical expiration is on Aug 20, 2022. Where to find the expiration? And if expired what do we need to do?
Keep checking website for slots. My sis found the slot around 3pm philippine time. I think at the end of the day they open slots.

did she have an interview and needed to show a negative test?

If so,  has the dr or the immigrant sent the info to the embassy

have u tried to email the embassy stating the Case # ,  names and both your dates of birth

to say she is negative and can be scheduled

and its fair to say,  she may need another medical as the paperwork and # of cases in Manila is long

Today she went to Saint Lukes and was told her sputum test is negative. They said there, that they will let the embassy know that she is cleared medically and we can call now for interview appointment.

I just hope we don't get to a point of undergoing another medical process

  6. As of today 5/23/22, my mom is medically cleared, sputum culture resulted negative and received her immunizations. Now, I can schedule her for interview. I called this number 1-703-520-2235 for international callers. I was on hold for too long and my call was dropped twice already. Any experiences that you would like to share? I've seen some were having a hard time also to schedule their interview. I just hope they need to consider that medical has expiration. It would be unfair if we cannot have interview date until the medical expired.
