  1. Hi there, yes I was able to book a new appointment after about two weeks or so. I cancelled my July 17 interview on May 24th or so, and on the 13th June interview dates for 17-20th July became available and I rebooked. I had checked daily up until then and there was nothing at all showing up, so they get released at random times. The button was a reschedule button, but by selecting that and going through it will basically cancel your appointment so that you can then book another one when it becomes available.
  2. An update, because seeing update from the users before me helped a lot! I clicked reschedule on my appointment on around the 25th of May. Daily since then, I have checked the website and there were no appointments available, and I was getting a little stressed. Then, upon checking today, I was able to rebook and appointments were available. All were on the 17th to 20th of July, and with several timeslots to look at each day!
  3. Thanks everyone here for the progressive updates. I am trying reschedule my July 17 interview. I clicked reschedule on approximately the 25th of May, and am waiting on appointment dates becoming available at the moment!
  4. I got mine too!! Interview 17 July, DQ either 5 or 11 May (I got it twice, they made us repay fees) so unsure which DQ date they used.
  5. Oh nice one congrats!! So does EB1 tend to come out around the same time as CR1/IR1, have you noticed in the past?
  6. Nah I just mean over the past several months, in that it doesn't look like the cutoff is quite as early as the 5th of any given month because early in the year I see there were people DQ on the 20th of a month who got IL at the end of the same month. That's awesome, it looks positive for you for this month! I wonder if they see that you have kids linked and organise it altogether for you, it could explain why the person DQ just before you did get one.
  7. I have seen a few people in this thread recently get an interview letter having been DQd around the 12th or so, so there is still hope!
  8. Yes! That’s what I’m hoping for, even late July would be perfect! So exciting.
  9. Joining everyone here as I just got my case transferred to London from Australia! Current setback is obtaining the police certificate - looks like it will be a month from postage because mail to Australia is so slow from the UK!
  10. Thanks so much! I had submitted a request to change to London and was really stressed about it because currently I'm not physically in the UK so I don't have proof of address in the form of utilities or anything like that, so this reassured me a lot! I didn't have to be stressed in the end though because literally 20hrs after I submitted the NVC request to change embassy it was approved!! Was not expecting it to happen before about 5 days with the current NVC inquiry times so it's nuts it was that fast. For others in the same position in the future - like pilot, I too submitted only proof of citizenship in the form of citizenship certificate and passport, and an address I was going to be at. I didn't even put in a reason in my request - I just said that as a British citizen I would like to change my interview location, and that I had included all documentation as per the FAQs on the NVC site. I did this at the NVC stage, pre-fee payment and so pre-uploading docs and pre-DQ.
  11. Hey there - just wondering; did you do your consulate switch prior to moving to Paris? Or did you have to move to Paris first? Basically what I'm asking is - was it enough to provide proof of citizenship alone, or did they come back and ask for more documents for proof of physical residence and actually being in Paris? Thanks in advance
  12. Jaz - wondering what this process was like for you? I'm looking at doing the exact same thing when I'm at that point because Sydney is so slow!
