  1. Did anyone's case get shipped to their embassy on 11/8/22? I have not seen any updates. I'm a June 2021 filer and my NOA2 is August 24th. I am beyond frustrated at this point. I will be at the 90-day mark by the time the next shipment arrives.
  2. NVC does ship cases every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but I heard that K1 petitions are only sent on Tuesdays. From the FB and WhatsApp groups I'm in, as well as VJ, it seems like they shipped very little cases today. Hopefully, they do send some tomorrow, but I have very little hope.
  3. I'm the same as you. My NOA2 is August 24th and NVC received my case around Oct 4th. No case number yet. 😔
  4. Try emailing NVCResearch again, or call USCIS to see when they shipped your petition out. I also submitted an inquiry through the portal on 9/15/22 and TSGSystem barely replied on Friday stating that I will be notified once the case is forwarded to the Embassy.
  5. Since you are also going through the Ankara embassy, did they email or mail Packet 3 to you? I'm the Petitioner, and I know they will send packet 3 to my fiance, but his email address wasn't included in the I-129F.
  6. Most people are being contacted via email, but someone I know told me that they were only notified by mail, which was frustrating to them because it turned out that their case had already been in transit for over 2-3 weeks.
  7. I can't even imagine how much harder it is for you two, especially since you have a daughter. They should expedite cases in those instances. When we applied back in June 2021, I thought the wait times were gonna get better, not worse! I, too, regret not going the marriage route. I was actually living with my fiance in Turkey and came back to the U.S. in January 2022 because I stupidly assumed we would be done by May 2022. Ugh, I really hope your petition gets shipped tomorrow. I also hope Ankara opens up more interview slots because 3 months away is ridiculous! I was under the impression that the embassy wasn't backlogged.
  8. Hey, I was thinking the same thing!! They got lucky. There are people prior to August 15th that still haven't received a case number.
  9. My NOA2 is Aug 24th but I don't have a case number yet. Someone else from VisaJourney that recently scheduled an interview at the Ankara embassy stated that the earliest available appointments were in late January 2023. 😭 I didn't expect it to be that far away. I will also be going through the Ankara embassy.
  10. When I called USCIS on Sept 30 (Friday), they told me that my petition's status was "ready for shipping on Sept 28." That same day I emailed NVCResearch. The following Monday, Oct 3rd, NVC responded that they did not have my petition. I emailed again on Oct 5th and they immediately replied, this time confirming that they received my petition. I don't know if the petition was received on Oct 4th exactly, but I'm assuming it was received sometime between Oct 3rd-Oct 5th.
  11. Looks like a lot of our cases were received by NVC on Oct 4th. My NOA2 was Aug 24th. I hope our petitions all get shipped on Tuesday. 🤞🤞
  12. Most Petitioner's receive it via email, but I know someone that received the welcome letter by mail only.
  13. So sorry to hear. NVC also confirmed receiving my petition on Oct 3-4th. Hopefully, both of our petitions get shipped to Ankara on Tuesday 🤞
  14. 😨 Wow! Is the earliest interview date in Ankara really in January?!? My case is barely getting shipped out of the NVC, but we were hoping to have the interview in December 😭. I didn't realize that Ankara had backlog. Congrats on scheduling the date.
  15. It does not matter if you use upper case or lower case, either one is fine.
  16. I would trust NVCResearch more than Emma, but perhaps you should contact USCIS and speak with an agent. At the very least, your case should have already arrived at the NVC.
  17. Did you use the following email address: NVCResearch@state.gov? They've always responded to me within 3 days. However, if you submitted an inquiry via the online portal, you probably won't get a response for another few weeks. I submitted an inquiry through the portal about 3 weeks ago and never received a response. For NVCResearch, I just included my USCIS Rcpt # in the subject line, and then I wrote something simple like: "I would like an update on the status of my case. Has my petition been received by NVC?" And I included my USCIS rcpt#, name, and my date of birth. Good luck!
  18. Sorry for the late reply. I called USCIS at (800) 375 5283, which is the same number you listed above.
  19. Congrats!!! We will also be going through the embassy in Ankara, but I'm about 3 weeks behind you. Curious to see how fast (or slow) the process goes once the petition is sent to the embassy.
  20. You can try, but I don't have firsthand experience with using the chat. Have you tried calling USCIS just once? When I called them, I immediately got connected to an agent.
  21. Call again and speak to another agent. I called USCIS yesterday to ask whether my petition had been sent to the NVC and the agent told me to call them back if the NVC did not receive my petition after 90 days, LOL. I told the agent that many other people have been successful at getting this information. After that, the agent investigated further and was able to tell me that their system had my petition's status as "sending as of Sept 28." Today, I submitted an inquiry to NVCResearch@state.gov and they immediately replied, confirming that my petition had been received. You just need to push them a little. Some of these agents are inexperienced, or possibly don't want to do more work than needed.
  22. Congrats!! Which NVC email have you been sending an inquiry to? I've only sent one inquiry to NVCResearch and to date, they stated that they have not received my petition.
