    After my interview I was told congratulations you will have your visa within one week. I waited for over one week with out hearing anything so I became nervous After two weeks I received my passport will the visa I am told this is happens to people who have been to united states before. They want to look into your past record in USA if you did not have any bar from coming to USA Good luck

    Yes my friend. I'm a parent of us citizen and I had my interview on the fourth of October. I arrived in the US about a month ago. You surely need to produce the original birth certificate to the consular officer. This is the only way to prove that you are the parents

    IR5, thank God the case is moving now. Just heard from the NVC this evening. Change of interview location approved after 99 days. Case number changed waiting for when it will be sent to Naples Italy.

    I'm documentarily qualified at NVC since December but due to the backlog situation in my country of birth I am not able to get my interview up to today. I realized that I can transfer my case to Italy bcoz I have permanent resident permit there. Realizing this I wrote to the consulate general in Naples and requested for a transfer. The consulate after presentation of my permit agreed that they are requesting my case and will get me informed when they receive my file. I was so excited because Naples doesn't have any backlog and one could get appointment in less than 2 weeks after the consulate receives your file. Now it's over 3 months since I made the request but I have not heard anything from the embassy not NVC. Please my question is... Has anybody had this experience and how long do I have to wait to get the transfer? In this case I am qualified and the consulate has agreed to request my case but why is it taking so long.y case number remains unchanged. In short, how long does it take to effect change of interview location? Please can someone throw more light on this topic. I'm getting worried. My last correspondence with the consulate was May 13, 2022. Please what is happening?
