  1. Based on current timelines, if you submit documents end of September and get DQ’d based on that submission, your interview would most likely be March or April 2023. (If your CR1 category)
  2. I just got message mine is ready for pickup, so I’m heading there now to get it then I’m off to the border! I’m sure yours will arrive today as well! Best of luck on your next adventure!! 🙂
  3. I just got my tracking number too!! So pumped!! USA USA USA 🇺🇸 lol
  4. Yes you take your titre test lab results and it will show which ones you have immunity to or not. You also show your receipts from vaccines given, and Covid vax etc. For me, I needed an MMR booster, a tetanus shot, and then I got the TwinRix for Hep A & B (2 shots 3 weeks apart). I had immunity to chicken pox, which showed on the titre results.
  5. Well my GP ordered it at a lab for me, but if you don’t have a Family Physician, you could try going into a walk-in clinic and asking if they’ll order it for you. I’m not sure if they will or not. Maybe ask a local pharmacist if they know where you could get a titre test ordered from.
  6. Yes you can get a Titre test done to see which vaccines you will need. Visit the vaccine requirement page to find out which ones are needed for your age group. Hep B has been recently added as a required vaccine. I got the titre test done and got my vaccines updated according to the lab test, and also added the TwinRix vaccine (combo Hep A & B) done prior to my medical. I went to Dr. Lee in Scarborough and he was more than happy that I had them all done, including the Hep B.
  7. That’s awesome! I hope I get mine within next few days 🙂
  8. Thank you! Yes I will for sure. Mine already says Issued - Final processing as well! Will update when I get tracking info!
  9. Congratulations! I had my interview this morning as well and I was approved too! So happy for all of us!! 🎉🥳
  10. You have to upload your PR status Card on CEAC and then wait for another review (approx 2.5 months) and then hopefully you’ll get DQ’d after that.
  11. We filed CR1 spousal (I-130) last May 2021, and I have my interview August 1st, so took about 14 months altogether and we did it ourselves with no lawyer. I also have been able to go back and forth and visit my hubby throughout the whole process with no issues. I’m currently visiting him now for a 9 day Stint, before heading to Montreal for my interview..
  12. I have my interview August 1st. We filed my I-130 May 28/21, so about 14 months altogether. A lot of others I follow and communicate with on Facebook immigration pages have been a few months less than me, so 2 years is not the norm. 12-15 months is typical timeframe for Canadians currently.
  13. I was DQ’d April 15th, received IL June 15th and my interview is August 1st. CR1 Montreal
  14. I got DQ’d April 15th, received IL on June 15th and my interview is August 1st.
  15. You should email the embassy requesting them to add your baby as a derivative and provide birth certificate, all details and documents regarding birth and bring your baby and documents to interview. The CO can add child to your case. If there’s an area on CEAC to add any birth certificate or other birth documents do that as well.
  16. Ya chances are slim to none they would get one in order to attend a concert…
  17. You must ask for a specific report for US immigration, under the Privacy Act. If it’s not the correct report, it will be rejected.
  18. This won’t work. If she gets a new passport, it will make her other one invalid. They need her passport to process the visa, stamp it and it’s associated with her DS260. If she gets a new one, it will only delay the process that much longer, and she won’t be able to activate her immigrant visa at border. Not to mention Canada has a massive wait time and backlog for passports currently. It’s taking an average of 3 months to get them. You’re better off just waiting for them to finish their administrative processing of your file and dont mess with it.
  19. As long as you have your interview appointment set, it will be fine. If you don’t have your interview letter yet, just wait until you receive it then you can upload to CEAC after that. I follow immigration groups on Facebook and the most knowledgeable admins/experts advise to always update CEAC with latest tax year and and I-864 after interview appointment if not already on CEAC. I uploaded 2021 tax return 2 weeks before I got DQ’d and then after interview letter, I added an updated I-864 that was signed and included 2021 info as well. I have my interview coming up in a few weeks and will bring copies as well.
  20. Yes, absolutely you should add your 2021 transcript or federal return and W2’s/1099’s plus an updated I864 signed with 2021 tax info/income. Upload to additional documents on CEAC and bring copies to interview. They approve visas based on the current tax year which is 2021, So will require that info. Be proactive.
  21. You could do this yes, however why not just activate the visa when you cross with the uhaul? Otherwise you will have to spend some time inside immigration twice in same day, which border agents may be annoyed with. First, the time spent going over paperwork and activating visa, then again the agents going over your uhaul load and possible detailed inspection.
  22. Will she be flying back home? If so, having a return ticket for her to show at border would be the best idea.
  23. I was DQ’d April 15th, and have my interview for August 1st…CR1 Montreal. So, currently it’s about 3.5 months after DQ you can expect interview.
  24. Is it possible to contact your ex spouse and ask them if they would have a copy of your divorce that they would graciously consider loaning you?
