    Hi everyone. I arrived United States on May 5th 2023 (3 weeks) with IR1 visa but till now I haven't received my SSN, please is this normal or a problem? Please I need urgent help to know what to do next. Thanks.

    I think NVC will need your dad marriage certificate because my wife file for her mom and NVC requested for her dad dead certificate to DQ her mom, with this if her dad is alive NVC will request her mom to submit marriage certificate.

    First submission was August 25th, RFE for my wife divorce document on October 21st and submit the same 21st so I pray to get DQ this time and also wishes everyone good luck

    I have also submitted my wife divorce document immediately yesterday so I hope we will get DQ latest by on Monday.

    They didn't ask for any other document than my wife divorce document so I just pray this mistake will not put me at the back of the line again.

    Divorce document is required document or additional document?, because NVC requested for my wife divorce document today so that I will know how to prepare my waiting time.
