  1. In regards to the immigrant fee , i am guessing it has not been paid as it has been two weeks since visa approval and travel to US. I am guessing that we have to fill this out online and will then get green card mailed which means there is another step
  2. Mother entered US last week on IR5 Visa, she was not provided any paperwork or forms as per the guidance received from London embassy to apply for a GC. What are the next steps / requirements to apply for Green card?
  3. Mother had interview and has received passport back with Visa, she is due to travel to US in March. When she enters the US is she ok to use the LPR Line? Also when can she expect to receive the actual LPR / Green Card?
  4. I Finally got interview appointment for my mother at UK London Embassy in late Jan for her GC, I have a couple of questions: - Do they keep / require UK passport at Interview? The reason why I am asking is as she has travel overseas following month and is planning a US trip in March. - There is an option to reschedule appointment, up to how far out can this be pushed back. e.g, 3-6 months.

  6. I did not receive an email, I received an email to advise that there has been an update and everything shows as approved with those messages. Will online portal show documentary qualified? Is it normal to approve docs and then request this "Please submit every 2022 W-2, 1099, and Schedule form"
  7. All documents were approved, even all the messages that were sent they were after all documents had been approved. There is no option to upload these documents either therefore i am guessing these may be required for interview.
  8. When I check both AOS and Applicant Information both show as accepted, this was updated on Sept 19th. My Priority date is June 2022 and case is currently at NVC. What else should I be checking for? When's the docs were accepted on Sept 19th there is a note from reviewing agent to please submit every 2022 W-2, 1099, and Schedule form for me.
  9. The AOS and Application information were accepted on 19th Sept, I do not not see any updates since, I wanted an update on when the interview will be (London), what are the current wait times?
  10. How do you check estimated time? I logged int oNVC and see nothing, the AOS and Application information were accepted on 19th Sept, I do not not see any updates since, wanted an update on when the medical / interview will be.
  11. What are the estimated timelines for London to receive a notice regarding next steps?
  12. I-130 was approved a while back, they requested docs which were uploaded and approved inc police certificate
  13. I finally got round to submitting all documents last week (took a while to get together), they have been approved. What are the next steps? Is it interview or is it medical. Also how long will it take for the interview notice to arrive? I am hoping that appointment comes in Jan / Fab as mother will be overseas next few months and is planning on coming to US in March.
  14. How do you request this for India.... Is it an online process? Also how long does it take?
  15. I am uploading docs for my mother to the NVC portal prior to her GC interview , the portal is requesting police certificate for her for both India and UK. She is a UK citizen / resident, she left India at aged 18 and has resided in UK since. I understand that UK is 100% required as that is where resides, is India required at all? The guidelines are kind of confusing, see below, she is not an Indian national, India is her country of birth, the guidance would be greatly appreciated. NVC has detailed instructions. Police Certificates Available Fees: Varies by authority. Document Name: All Indian nationals aged 16 and above, residing in India - Indian Police Clearance Certificate. Indian passport holders residing outside India – statement of no criminal record Non-Indian applicants residing in India who are registered with the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) – Police Clearance Certificate Non-Indian applicants who reside in India and are not FRRO registered (such as Tibetan Identity certificate holders) - Police Clearance Certificate Issuing Authority: All Indian nationals aged 16 and above, residing in India - Regional Passport Office. Indian passport holders residing outside India – The local Indian Embassy, Consulate, High Commission, or Deputy High Commission. Non-Indian applicants residing in India who are registered with the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) - The FRRO serving their area of residence. Non-Indian applicants who reside in India and are not FRRO registered (such as Tibetan Identity certificate holders) - District Police Station serving their area of residence. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/India.html
  16. To be clear not a current Indian passport holder either, does she require a police certificate? It is requested within the requested documents along with UK police report.
  17. This topic is confusing, does she require a police certificate from India too? Website states: Lived in your country of nationality for more than 6 months at any time in your life. Mo mothers country of nationality is the UK and she was born in India and emigrated to the UK at the age of 18.
  18. No Indian citizenship, only British, as I understand it India does not allow dual citizenship
  19. Mother resides in UK and has for 50 years, India is her place of birth. Based on the above am I correct in assuming that a police report is only required from UK? Also does not having this delay the process, as I understand it from the day I make payment tis can take a couple of weeks to sort.
  20. Uploaded transcript, completing mothers documents. I am requested for Police certificate UK and India, UK is straight forward, my mother left India when she was 17 and is now 70, is this necessary and more importantly a reasonable request?
  21. Excellent, I guess I just need to complete form 4506-T? Also as I understand it you only need to provide the most recent tax return is that correct ?
  22. Is this q quick turnaround / How long does this take?
  23. I have submitted completed Affidavit online I am being requested for tax return or transcript. I have a large 100 page password protected attachment from my CPA with my full tax return that was submitted for this year back in May. is there something specific that they are looking For example page 1040... Should I just print this and share.... Or perhaps whole document? Or is there another option e.g. no idea how to pull a transcript?
