Has anyone at all got Interview letters that have been DQ'd this year? I'm curious to know if the Mumbai consulate has even reached 2022 or are they still interviewing  people in 2021? Also, could someone be so kind as to help me with an approximate estimate for a DQ date of March 2022? (CR1, current.)

Thank you for that. My partner is in India. Can she visit me here in the US as a tourist while awaiting her main visa? I keep reading mixed reports about this.

Yikes! So the whole process can take up to 2.5 years? That's excruciating. Is it possible for my wife to visit me on a tourist visa while we are waiting for the interview.

That's wonderful. Could you please point me to how I can find out how many people are ahead of me and how long the wait times are.

This was helpful. Thank you. I just wish there was an approximate wait time calculator or if someone on this site has been through the same steps how long it took them in 2022.

Fix the long wait times, separating families for years. At least provide the people who are waiting in queue an approximate wait time for their interview to be scheduled? Maybe let us know how many people are in front of us and how many are being processed per month to calculate how long we need to wait? Instead of just putting us in limbo.  These are the things that can be fixed. Currently, I have no idea how long my wait time is or if there is anyway to find out. If someone knows, kindly do help. It will be greatly appreciated.

My wife (spouse of US citizen) is eagerly waiting for the interview date at the Mumbai consulate. We got Documentarily qualified on 23rd March 2022. It has been close to 3 weeks and there is no response in-spite of being current. Our CEAC portal still shows that the case is at the NVC. We started the process 1 year and 4 months ago and still do not have a visa in hand. If there is anyone else in a similar boat please let us know how long it took for you to get a visa interview in 2022 at Mumbai. We are stressed out just waiting in limbo. The US should really fix this. Keeping newly married families apart from each other for so long is just terrible and unfair.
