During my cfo seminar they asked me about my parent's consent even if im turning 24 this year but due to i have a visa already so they have no choice If i we're you i will only go to cfo if i have a visa already because they have no choice. Good luck

I was 15 minutes late for my flight to Manila for my medical appointment so I have rebooked my ticket for tomorrow. And just tonight I have my premenstrual period...what am I gonna do???? Why they dont allow to have our medical when we have our monthly period? Do they check us down there? How? do they examine the cervix and everything thats inside there?

First day of my early medical i had also 1st day of my monthly period & i done pregnancy test even if i have. Then the staff there told me that i will come back until my period is gone so i come back there after it's gone to do my 2nd day of medical. I think the reason why they want every applicant to do their medical w/ no monthly period is because of the physical examination. The doctor will examine all. Good luck

I honestly dont know what to do. My flight will be few hours from now but Im still doubtful to risk going to Manila. Im from Cebu and dont have any relatives there so I have to stay in a pension house or hotel, Manila is so expensive so as much as possible I dont want to stay there for a long time. My interview date will be on April 22nd and period usually lasts 7-9 days.

Im from mindanao & also my mom w/ me during medical. I have relatives in manila but i dont like to stay them so thats why my husband (fiancee) no choice we stayed in hotel lol!! Well,if you know that this week your period is coming its better to have your early medical. Your period so long ha? But just go there & good luck for your medical & interview.

Is it difficult for my gf to get her passport in the philippines on her own or is it advisable to go through a travel agency there? She was told about having to go through an interview on her own but if she used a travel agency she wouldn't have to interview.

It's easy & mine it only took 3 days & i paid P750,if 5 days P500 @ Cagayan de Oro City. I advised not to used travel agency. Good luck

do i need to call slec and inform them that i will be having an early medical exam? or i will just go there and present the requirements and appoinment letter or the confirmation letter the one in the e-mail?

No need to call slec. Anytime you can go there & just present your appointment letter,2x2 picture,passport. It's better to have an early medical for incase. I had my medical almost 1 month before my interview. Good luck

Will you go for medical and iterview alone, or will you take someone with you?

My fiance will take her brother with her to Manila. She will not go by herself, if

her brother does not go with her.

It depends on the guard there if its ok for him bec. during my medical w/ my mom. She asked the guard if she can go inside & he said ok but my mom is only waiting for me in the ground floor.

I got 2 copies of my cenomar today but I noticed that my mom's full maiden name is written as:first name, last name, middle name and the purpose is for passport/travel, do you think I am going to have a problem with these information? Or it doesn't matter for as long as it states there that you've never been married in the past? Please advise. Thank you.

During my interview the CO never asked my Cenomar. But that is required & the purpose of my cenomar is also for passport/travel. Goog luck!!!

My wife has her medical at St. Lukes scheduled for the same day as her interview on May 12. Medical at 12:00 a.m. and her interview at 6:30 a.m. Since this is obviously a mistake can she just show up at St. Lukes the week before her interview and take her medical?

As long as she have an appointment letter she can go to st.lukes. It's better to have an early medical for in case. But be sure that she has no monthly period so that only 2 days finish. Good luck!!!

I find it a little bit odd coz i read in this website that we are suppose to pay delbros so that document verification will not be delayed, hence i did pay a month earlier than my interview only to find out a few days before my interview that no verification process has been initiated at all at that time. Now the question is, why should we pay early for the verification process if USEM will not initiate the move to verify till our interview. I dont understand the system.

Anyway, its kinda frustrating that the document verification, i understand will take 4 weeks maximum??? just to check the documents issued by the same institiution that will verify our documents? Its like double verification process being made. Its ok to verify it twice, but i hope not that long as in 4 weeks. We have waited for so long, about 6 months just for the K1 papers to arrive to Manila from the US, then wait for 60 days to have your interview set and then the document verification of your birth certificate and cenomar for a month? If its a day or perhaps 3 days, that would be fine, but 4 weeks? That's too dragging already.

Me too i dont understand bec. i have 1 friend that after interview she paid the document verification w/ her fiancee & only 1 day she received her visa.

Oh my goodness!!! . I have also 1 friend that we have same scheduled in interview last march 3,2008 & she already paid document verification last feb. 8 but she said her visa was delayed & only this coming 1st week of april they'll deliver her visa.

Well,about the visa it depends. Try to ask the CO if it's ok you will pick-up the visa. If it's ok it only took 3 days. Good luck!!!

wow!for me it's early i had interview last march 3,(6:30am) w/ my fiance & we came there 5:30am. 1 hour ahead is ok for me coz they are not 1st come 1st serve anyway. it depends on your number to be called.well,its up to you bec. this is only based on my experienced.

Just pay it or you will be like me.... I was interview feb 04 but my visa was released to delbros feb 19 and i got it feb 22.I didnt pay even after the interview maybe thats the reason of the delayed releas of my visa Good luck to you

Oh really?i have friend & we had same sked on interview last march 3 & until now no visa yet eventhough last feb. 8 she paid & she said thats the reason why her visa delayed. And i have another friend her interview was last march 12 w/ her fiancee & after interview she paid the document verification & only 1 day she received her visa. Oh my God! so fast. Well, im so happy coz after 3 days i received my visa w/ my fiancee. Thanks.....

Hello everyone , i just want to ask ...is it true that the U.S embassy needs the past 3 years income tax return? My interview would be on april 3 ... i only have 2006 income tax return of my petitioner.... do you think i should ask for another income tax of my petioner? thank you

I had interview last march 3 w/ my fiance but only 2006 ITR i gave them bec. thats all he had. Just ask him if he have a 2007 ITR bec. all they want is the latest.
