  1. When we were gearing up to do this they effectively shut down the process and moved Ukrainians trying to get in to US to the "Uniting for Ukraine" humanitarian parole program. I do not know if my experience is going to be applicable to yours, but here it is just in case! We went through Uniting for Ukraine program on USCIS, filling out the I-134 affidavit of support and receiving travel authorization only took a couple of days. I arrived with 3 Ukrainians to Newark airport. The process was pretty painless thankfully. We came up to border control and were asked about who the Ukrainians are, how where they came from. We kept it simple, no need to tell them more than what they ask for. They did not seem to have any Ukrainian or polish speakers on hand, they asked other arriving passengers for help translating. Thankfully i spoke English and Ukrainian and we were able to answer any questions. They took photos and fingerprints of the Ukrainian arrivals and we were led to a secondary border patrol office. They took their passports and travel authorization and we waited a bit. After 10 minutes they the border patrol agent came back with the passports stamped with authorization to stay in the US until 2024. We did not need to answer any questions at this phase. And that was it, we left to pick up our baggage and entered the US. Hope this gives a little info to others going through this process!!

  4. I have the same issue. From going through this process, USCIS seems to have some lagging time between receiving decisions and actually getting documentation confirming the decision. I'm hoping that sometime Monday we will get our notices!
  5. Hello! I am a US citizen looking to bring my Ukrainian grandmother to the US. I have been looking at options of going through Canada. I know that Canada has the Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET), which we would use to get overseas, and then make our way to Canada-US border. I have been trying to find information on going through border via Humanitarian Parole. I have seen that many have been going through Mexico, but as my family lives in the northeast US and my grandmother is infirm, we want to limit travel time. I am currently looking at doing it without a lengthy application process, just coming to the Canada-US border and getting going through interview right there. My sister, father and I all are US citizens and can provide evidence of financial support and my grandmother was able to receive a Ukrainian international passport recently. She has been to the US in 2005. I have had trouble finding concrete information on the process in Canada, so if anyone has crossed the border from Canada to US or has any links to information that would be a massive help. Thank you all in advance!!
