Well, I think cover letter might have helped, other than that nothing else was different. However the cover letter was for late filing. 

Also, not such a stupid official grabbed the paperwork this time?! Lol

Thank you all for your response, we had the check cashed today after we send the petition 3rd time and late(added cover letter) .

We are so happy that it got accepted. Anyone from California has an idea on processing timing?

There are not that many things that will cause wrong amount, especially since you did not have any dependent and the fact that you tested it with both sending check and credit card authorization form.

 

While waiting for tier 2 to call you back, double check your application to make sure it is signed and dated (both you and your spouse should have signed/dated).  There is a slight chance they may have rejected your application and sent you an incorrect reason for rejecting it.  Anything is possible with USCIS.

Thanks, yeah. We checked one more time when we got the petition back, and that's what was frustrating as we didn't see anything that's mistaken. 

The tier 2 promissed to call me back in 1-2 business day on Wednesday, still nothing right now and it's almost 3pm pst... Ughhhh

No, there are only 4 0's in the routing #

We are married since 2019, got 1st GC in February 2020, GC expired on 02/25/2022

Hi all, 

Kinda lost here... 

So we filed 1st i751 with personal check for the amount of 680 - 595+85, that petition was rejected due to incorrect payment. The check was written exactly how the website advises - with US department of Homeland security as payable to. 

We sent the petition 2nd time with credit card authorization form and it was rejected again for same reason.

We have no clue what to do right now as well as when I reached out to the USCIS, finally got to speak with real person, she looked at the petition and said well it seems like you everything correct, and scheduled me to talk with tier 2. Still waiting.

So now I am in position that my GC is expired, I just got my petition back and writing a letter why we are late. Any suggestions or clues what to do to make them accept the money finally????
