  1. Yes, it was very fast in my case. In my approval notice I saw Vermont. The case has been transferred there right after the USCIS had received it (I saw it in case history).
  2. Update: 09/28 - USCIS received the case from DOS 10/05 - Case approved!!! Regarding the hard copy of the FR, I sent an email to 212ewaiver, but have not received any reply. My international office in principle wants this as part of the H1B application package, although it is not really needed for H1B.
  3. Hello Guys, One week after FR had shown up in the system (FR 09/23), I received a receipt notice from the USCIS. However, I have not received any hard copy of the FR from the DOS. I thought they would send me it in one of the envelopes we had to provide them together with the docs. Did they change the procedure or should I contact them and ask for it? I analyzed a few cases posted by you here, and looks like some of you, e.g. @ctbply received a hard copy from the DOS, and others, e.g., @Amoyar_Dever or @Rimssk reported only receiving a receipt notice form the USCIS. Could someone clarify if it is random or they changed something in the meantime? Thank you!
  4. Hi Guys, I have finally gotten a FR. My timeline: - Docs sent 03/02 - NOS sent by the Embassy 03/09 - Docs marked as received 04/06 - NOS marked as received 04/05 (entered into the system on 07/29; in the meantime the Embassy sent a digital copy twice and I sent several emails to the public inquiries) - FR 09/23 !!!:) I have also requested expedited processing and asked a congressional office for help. The expedited processing was refused, and I have never gotten any feedback from the congressional office - they said they had sent an inquiry and a follow-up, but never came back to me. It was a long story, but I am so happy it is close to an end. Thank you for your support guys, I will update you on the next steps. GOOD LUCK to all!
  5. So your latest date in the system is March, 28? If so, I believe the decision will come really soon. Many people with all the docs uploaded end of March/ beginning of April are getting their decisions now. I hope for the same.
  6. Hi @kokee123. So, all your docs, including NOS are uploaded with the date March, 31 and still no decision? If you don’t have any US gov funding and are not waiting for sponsor views, you can drop an email to 212ewaiver in case you haven’t done it yet. You’re not the only one waiting longer than 16 weeks since the latest date in the system, but they are typically “on time” with the creative counting from the arbitrary received date. So it’s worth to try and ping them.
  7. Update: My No Objection Statement is received now with the date one day before the other docs were received. I'm so happy Finally some progress. By the way, I checked on Friday - nothing, I checked on Saturday after midnight (ET) still nothing, and I checked later today (Saturday) and it is there. So keep checking also on weekends
  8. @GHYF Did they reply you with some random text and processed it anyway? I wrote an email to them, explained everything, asked for assistance and I got the same reply with "The Waiver Review Division will continue to process your case in its normal first-in, first-out queue". My request for expedited processing was denied some time ago. @pales My documents were received beginning of April, but NOS is still not there. The Embassy sent it 3 times (the paper version got lost, although it was delivered according to the USPS). Each time I asked DOS, they confirmed they have it (starting from end of April) and it will be entered in the future. I feel there is nothing else I can do. Expedited processing- denied. Sometimes my impression is that they delay it on purpose because I bothered them too much with inquiries, hopefully it is only my stupid worry.
  9. Hey Guys, I’ve got a question for those who contacted 212ewaver. Did you always get replies from “Visa Specialist/SB” or you noticed sometimes other initials? I wonder if it’s just one person who is doing that all the time. I had some email exchange a while ago, and the first reply was extremely fast, now it’s hard to get a reply at all.
  10. @Curious one Do you remember how late it was updated (more or less)? They confirmed they had received mine on April 26th and it’s still not updated.
  11. Hi, I’m in a similar situation. All the docs received on April 6th except for NOS. I contacted the DOS on April 25th, and they replied immediately that they hadn’t received my NOS (sent beginning of March and delivered a few days later according to the USPS tracking). On April 26th, the Embassy sent a digital copy, as advised by the DOS. I emailed the DOS again on the same day, and they said they saw the doc recently received which would be entered in the system in the future and my case would be processed in the coming weeks. I followed up on that at the beginning of June, and I got a reply that no action is needed and “please refer to the previous email”. The NOS is still not marked as received in the system. I also reached out to the local congressional office and they are working on my case. I asked them to request expedited processing based on significant US Government interest. @Ffghw You can submit a casework request to the office of your local congressman. Typically they have a dedicated service “help with a federal agency” on their websites. Any updates on your end?
  12. @pales Any updates on your case? I am in a similar situation ;( They lost my NOS and the Embassy sent a digital copy. Although they confirmed it is received (April 26th) and my case would be processed in the "coming weeks", there is no update in the system, and the NOS is still not "received" there. It is insane.
  13. Hi @maybeariadne, my friend has not applied for the waiver yet, so I do not know. My waiver is pending, but in my case it was easy to determine the country - I was a permanent resident (not a citizen) of the country which financed my program, so then this is 100% your home country. If you were not a permanent resident, still country that financed your program seems to be the most important, but as @Amoyar_Dever suggested, it might be wise to get another NOS from your country of permanent residency (prior to entering the US) or citizenship (if they are not the same, the country of permanent residency is considered home).
