How you will answer to an officer that you were working with another person name?
did you have a visa to work?so use the logic to answer that questions…
I wasn't using another SS number or anything, it was my name but slightly modified, I know it is more serious to work another person's SS.

1. Always answer all immigration form question truthfully.
2. Is your spouse a US citizen? That is extremely important.
3. You are not applying for a visa. You are applying to adjust status (within the US).
How did you enter the US?
Have you ever claimed to be a US citizen?
Yes, he is a US citizen.
I entered legally but then I stayed with him and my tourist visa expired while living here.
No, I have never claimed to be a US citizen.
Thank you for letting me know it is a status adjustment.

I have been living in the US for a year and a half now and married for almost a year, the marriage is legal and we're starting to fill the forms for the visa applicartion. My question is: Should I write down all the places that I've worked at so far, even if they are unauthorized and not under my real name? Will that create any problems in the application, or would it be worse if I don't write down anything?
Also, I have not done my taxes properly, but every place that I've worked at has been taking away my taxes.
P.D, Thank you for the answers. Me and my husband are trying to do this without a lawyer, as we're trying to buy a house, but we have very little idea of the things that we have to do. I'd appreciate if anyone could further help me out!

I've been married for a 1 1/2 years and my travel visa expired 2 years ago, but I still have my passport. My husband and I want to travel nationally but I don't know if I'll be able to do so.
Anyone knows if they do ask me for a tourist visa?
