  1. We sent our initial email to the DFA on June 6th, and received a response on June 27th (for anyone in the future reading this expect a response in 2-3 weeks). Once the DFA said our paperwork was good and we could file with them, they CC'ed the registration office and got an appointment within 24 hours.
  2. My wife is in Davao City. We want to register our marriage with the DFA so she can take the CFO class and come live with me. Per their site, we are to email all the documents to them in order to schedule an appointment (to make sure we have the correct documents, and don't waste time). It has been about 2 weeks since our first email. Does anyone know how long it takes the DFA to respond back via email and schedule her appointment for our ROM?
  3. Update: They emailed me on May 12th that they would accept my I-130 application. I mailed everything out May 13th. Maybe 20th (today) I-130 approved. So between 5 and 10 days.
  4. Hi, Hope all is well. Can anyone give me a rough guesstimate how long the Frankfurt Consulate takes to process the I-130 to NOA2 once they accept it? 1 week? 1 Month? Anyone with experience with this consulate is welcome to reply. Thanks!
  5. Note I don't think it covers if you / she gets COVID and you have to cancel the trip. It will help with refunds for flight changes I believe. Either way, it will suffice for getting into the PI. I used it successfully last month.
  6. When I went I used AXA. Travel - AXA Philippines
  7. I just came back recently and I used the above. However I was under the impression you needed COVID travel insurance as well? I can't remember if they asked for it or not. Note that once you are there, depending on where you go, you might need an additional App on your phone. Davao City had one and I know the VaxCertPH is for general country wide entry. I had heard mixed results on the rapid tests so I went with PCR.
  8. NOA2 (sorry typo). I will probably post more in there in the future 😀 . As a contractor I don't get most of the benefits, depends on the contract I am working on.
  9. So where I am currently at, the US government issues Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) cards for her to come stay at my duty location. To get that she only needs an NOA1.
  10. Wouldn't if her medical exam gets rejected she can't come to the US? I currently live abroad (US military contractor) and for her to come to my current location she needs an NOA2. But eventually one of these days I would like to return stateside with her. And I agree I haven't found a list that says Hep B is grounds for rejection. But I was curious because that would affect how we are together.
  11. My wife is currently in the Philippines and we have an active I-130. She should be healthy enough to pass the medical, however she does have Hepatitis B. It is controlled with medication. I know TB is a denial, but Hepatitis B that is controlled via medicine, would that be grounds for a medical denial?
