Hi. Have a question on the above Employer section. Under the Work/Education/Training section, it asks for Primary Occupation. Once I filled in the Primary occupation and her "Present Employer", it goes to the Previous TAB, asking for the last 10 years of employment history. So if I put down her current employer in this Previous TAB listing, how can I put an end date if she still works there? She has been with this employer for over 10 years. The system gives an error if you leave end date blank. Thank you for the help!

Hello - I am in process of sponsoring my wife and filling out the DS-260. As a result, a Police Clearance Certificate is required. So in order to get that, she needs to go to Passport Seva in Punjab, India. However, we heard a relative say that she needs to add me to her Aadhaar card first as "Wife of" or "Care of", otherwise Passport Seva will not provide a Police Clearance. Is this accurate? Thank you

Might sound like a basic question, but who initiates a Police Clearance Certificate request? As in, does the spouse in India have to request it from the regional Police Department or it has to be requested by the US Visa Department? And is there a generic FORM or an example the US Visa Department has, that needs to be completed by the regional Police Department?

Unfortunately, the DS-260 online form does not allow blanks..unless I am wrong? Her ex-spouse is Indian citizen.

Hello - My spouse in India does not have marriage certificate or remember the date of birth of her spouse from her 1st marriage, but does have Divorce document. She can only guess at the age of the Ex, as getting that information from Indian courts and registers is literally impossible. She never changed her name during 1st marriage, as it only lasted one month. Is that sufficient? Who initiates a Police Clearance Certificate request? As in, does the spouse have to request it from the regional Police Department or it has to be requested by the US Visa Department? And is there a generic FORM or an example the US Visa Department has, that needs to be completed by the regional Police Department? Unfortunately, unlike here in the US, data record by cities/states is very poor in India, thus creating these types of situations.
