Hello, I need expert guidance from this forum. Here is my situation - I applied for H1 extension with Employer A along with H4 extension and H4-EAD extension. Received H1 extension approval, but H4 and H4-EAD are still pending with USCIS. Then I applied for H1 transfer with Employer B in premium, now waiting for a response (expecting a response in 15 calendar days) 1. Do I need to re-apply for H4 and H4-EAD extension (as there is no transfer for dependents) or current applications will get processed in the next few months? 2. Can my dependents travel to their home country for visa stamping before I get a response of H1 transfer, I will share copy of approved I797 from Employer B when I receive it? Their stamping appointment is after 2.5 weeks of travel date. Thanks

Hi My relative applied for a visitor visa (B1-B2) for 1.5 years old child, they got an interview waiver appointment and in response, they receive a letter to appear for the interview with a consular officer along with both parents. Both parents have valid visitor visa (applied before their child's birth) and they want to visit the United States for summer vacation for a few weeks this year. We are confused about why they need to attend the interview and what questions can they expect?

Update: I applied for visa again, I got drop-box appointment as they had previous visa in same category. USCIS approved visa for 10 years without asking any questions. Thanks to everyone for answering my queries.
