Order a Subject Access Report which will reveal details of the conviction. You order from the same place you got the police certificate.  Take both to your interview. The US government wants to know about everything, even the things you can get hidden or expunged in the UK.

You will need it again in the US in some of your further immigration processes, so don’t discard it or lose it.

Yh I did but I asked them to send it to my email or do I need the one they send by post?

It is an issue, I assume you have to be arrested before you can be cautioned.

So you did not disclose this completing ESTA?

I was around 16 when this happened its been 13 years since. The police told me I would have a record for certain amount of years then it would expire. I never thought that I would have to report stepped down records especially one that happened in my youth. Its not that I went out of my way trying to lie, I just thought it was irrelevant.

A caution is an admission of guilt.

So did I answer the question right or wrong? Because I wasn't arrested nor was I convicted or am I interpreting it all wrong?

Besides I been to usa on esta many times since.

It means there is a record of something.

Misunderstanding? What do you mean by that?

Misunderstanding to the arrest or conviction question. Or having something o n the record doesn't apply to the question on the ds-260

  5. At the time of completing the ds-260 I answered "no" to the question if I have been arrested or convicted. My acro certificate came back with "no live trace". After doing research about what that means it says that I have a record which is not relevant anymore. Anyway would this effect my green card chances or can I tell the consular during the interview about the misunderstanding?

  6. So IR1 visa interviews are given one month after being DQ. I been DQ since July 2021 for F21 visa and nothing since, only emails every 60 days telling me my case is still with NVC awaiting interview appointment. How far down is F21 from IR1 in priority line? It's seems there isn't even that many F21 applications for London to deal with anyway so why is it taking so long.
