Glad to let you all know that we got our visas issued and crossed the border. Exactly 1 year after the interview at Montreal. We did not go through the Mandamus route.

yes, medical gets sent electronically. It is almost three weeks since they received all the requested documents including passport.

We sent the second medical and police clearance along with passport last week. Approximately how long does it take to get a response from the consulate?

We are going to send the documents requested ( medical & police clearance) by Canada Post as per their instructions.

Fingers crossed. Just requested for passport and next day got request for medical and police clearance along with courier instructions. So we thought of sending passports along with those documents.

Can we return passports after our travel is done? Or do we wait until they request? We have been asked to second medical and police check. We are thinking of sending passports along with police clearance and medical certificate.

Got another canned response from Montreal Consulate. We went for interview on October 14th and today is June 14th. It is 243 days after interview, case got updated today as they sent a response. Response was from OP03.
