  1. It should be two weeks before yours, I guess.
  2. Wow!! Congratulations! Mine is still pending 😤
  3. I don't understand why they took so long approve our cases. @noobjections and @madovi, I guess we are on the same boat. I know people who sent their applications as NOS from the same country and 3 months later then us. And DOS keep claims that they process based on the receipt number. It is unfair!!!
  4. Yeah, other people are getting their recommendation
  5. Is there anyone else waiting for the recommendation since March? I sent my documents on November 11th and it was updated on March 14th. It has been 14 weeks and I got nothing. I kept getting following the answer from 212ewaiver: Good day, Thank you for your inquiry. As we mentioned in our last reply, processing times for waiver recommendations by the Department of State, Waiver Review Division vary depending on the basis under which you request a waiver of the two-year home-country physical presence requirement. The processing time of twelve to sixteen weeks for No Objection cases is an estimated timeframe and sometimes can take longer. The processing time for applications begins only when all required documents have been received in our office and the file is complete. The requests are taken in order of receipt. Your case should be processed in the coming weeks. Our Waiver Review Division is making every effort to process cases as expeditiously as possible for our J-1 visa waiver applicants. However, there can be no guarantee that your waiver will be finished by a particular date. Once a recommendation has been made, your case will be electronically forwarded to U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) Vermont Service Center (VSC) where your J-1 waiver eligibility will be determined. We assure you that your request will be processed as soon as possible. You may continue to monitor the status of your request by going to https://j1visawaiverrecommendation.state.gov/ and using your case number. The coming weeks never happening for me. We hope this information is helpful.
  6. I didn't. By the way, the processing time they set is 16 weeks maximum. You might want to contact them in the following week since you will reach the maximum.
  7. Hopefully, we will see some update🤞 All my documents were received at 3/14. No organization, no order at all. It is just annoying.
  8. I sent my documents on November 11th and I am still waiting for the recommendation. It is really annoying and frustrating to see that people got their recommendation even tough they sent their document in January. I am really wondering what cause a delay on some of our cases. Is it DS2019 end date? They keep saying that first come first serve but that obviously wrong. It took six months to upload the documents. I am really tired of this.
