Your other option is to forgo k1 and get married and live in China with her. 

Waiting makes more sense.

You'll get a response at about the 13 month mark. You're almost there. It shall be well.

I dont believe it's unusual either.  i130 also isn't too quick.  They are both similar waits now. I think the fact that they get green cards immediately is what lures some to not choose k1. 

I don't think you need to worry, if they need more evidence, they'll ask you.

I dont think it should be a big deal. Everything you mentioned makes sense. I just think you should have some pictures. Even if it's at home or via video chat.
