Is it still correct that you can call them 14+3=17 days before your trip to book an appointment? I only see 14 days mentioned online and it says in the automated system on the phone that you have to travel within 14 days.

Yes. I received an email about interview on June 1st and received the notice in the mail today June 6th. My interview will be on July 11th.
