I’m doing a K1 visa what would be considered DQed? Embassy requested papers including affidavit of support and stuff and we sent them that about 2 weeks ago.

     Haven’t heard anything since

That's very good news, that means they're working on your case and will schedule your interview soon in the embassy, some people here have had it in similar timeline like yours. I was wondering when the NVC sent the case to the embassy for continuing processing. We have been docmementarily qualified since January but nothing yet from the embassy!

From what I understand it is different depending on the workload of the Consulate or Embassy. Maybe a social media group or checking on visawhen.com will shed some more info

Yes, i was looking for a timeframe that is being shown but it seems there's no timeframe after DQ it's likely open and on guessing.

What Country?  This post may get better responses if moved to the correct regional forum.

    It's Egypt.

It depends on how long the queue is for your country at NVC.  This is how it works:

    1. Case is DQ'd by NVC.

    2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC.

    3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month.

    4. NVC schedules interview when your case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate.

    5. NVC notifies person of interview date via email.

    6. NVC then sends case to consulate.

After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.

Thank you for your comment, this is actually insightful.

Congratulations.. this is easy to obtain. He just has to get it from Abbassia, department of immigration and customs,  and he can obtain this certificate in 3 business days with such a fee a premium processing.

My guess: the W2 from the household member threw them off.  They probably reviewed it as a normal employee based sponsorship, and they want the W2 from the sponsor as well.

From my understanding, someone who is self employed should provide the evidence required (tax statements) and not mix it up with household members.

We did the best we can do to provide all the necessary financial docs. They have approved everything we provided but still getting FE evidence of income for both the sponsor and the household member.
