  1. Yes you can. I live in Texas and traveled within including south of the border, stopped once during the night (just normal border patrol check) I showed my passport & visa (I also have my I-94 screenshot but the state trooper didnโ€™t look for it) and Iโ€™m good to go. Previous K1 visa now GC holder.
  2. Thank you and we appreciate all the help you provided here.
  3. Yeah the 2-3 months NVC case creation means they received the petition from USCIS. So if you received your NOA 2 mid October, the prediction is you might have a case # by mid Jan. 2023 at the most. From my end I am expecting a case# by mid Feb. following that timeline. By logic, the most important thing is to get the case# generated. I mean, I don't see the petition going anywhere else aside from NVC. They do batch processing just looking at the approval style, which is why you will see Aug. that was approved around end of Oct. and some Aug. petitioners that got approved just yesterday (Dec.).
  4. Based from my observation, it takes 2-3 months for NVC to create a case for the petition and have the status Case Ready. I don't monitor though the timeline of processese such as: NVC receipt of the petition from USCIS, NVC Case Review time, Change from assigning case# to in transit to case ready.
  5. Congratulations!!!! Now, we're ready for the USCIS to NVC Case creation. I saw some posts that it takes 2-3 months.
  6. You will see a speed spike of Ukraine and Russia petitions because they can claim for humanitarian reasons due to war. In fact if I am not mistaken the US government made a statement that they will prioritize those who are affected in the war zone areas. I also belong to a group of July and August filers and the approvals are really "scattered."
  7. No, the beneficiary's country does not affect the NOA 2 timeframe. As per USCIS, the current prcessing timeframe is 15 months for 80% of the monthly case.
  8. Hang in there. You will probably be included this week. I think we belong to the same batch. Crossing fingers for you.
  9. Oh no I don't mean that you are not paying attention. I'm sharing it just in case you will do a re-scan or count, something along those lines, that can help.
  10. Me. The feeling sucks when I saw a Sept 2021 NOA1 filer got approved, meanwhile USCIS said I can only inquire after Jan. 5, 2023.
  11. Yes, I think we belong to the same batch. Trying not to be really antsy about it, but it does feel crappy when you saw someone approved/case updated that is ahead of your date filed.
  12. Yep I'm at the same boat. I saw 1 from our group that got approved and she is a September filer. It sucks.
  13. Not sure, probably. I mean they did that with the previous months as well. They still have some July leftovers. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
  14. What I've typically seen is request for proof of meeting within the 2 year period before filing the K1. Most of them have submitted pictures and other evidences, but what I suspect is the "type of evidences and its arranggement " is causing the issue, probably not at par to the USCIS requirements.
  15. Yes the tax returns downloaded in the IRS website is accepted.
  16. I heard about "death by a thousand cuts" it is a form of torture with your neighboring country. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ It is a slow painful death as a form of idiomatic expression. With regards to Niagara falls, yes I've been there. What I can say with that is "water finds its way."
  17. Lol! A lot wrote their congress and senators, both parties. Guess what they received? Canned messages. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  18. Yes you are a party pooper! Just kidding ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Of course, how everyone wish they process it faster than what they are doing now. However, reality check is, we don't have control on such things, and based from my country where they stopped K1 visa processing, this is better news rather than nothing at all.
