  1. Received our first letter in the mail yesterday 10/04/23, Biometrics Appointment scheduled for 10/12/23!
  2. Hi! I don't see a Sept. 2023 group so just hopping on here if that's okay! Sent: Sept. 9th NOA1: Sept. 18th Waiting for hard copy letters in the mail.
  3. I didn't, I started inquiring after two weeks through the public form. It doesn't affect your case how many times you inquire so why not? Oops, guess I spoke too soon! I literally just got an email letting me know my case # and that it has been sent to my US Embassy in London!
  4. I sent an inquiry and received an email back. I sent a direct email, rather than the public form -- NVCResearch@state.gov
  5. Has anyone received a case # from NVC? I got notification that our case arrived at NVC and was being "processed". I sent an inquiry and haven't heard anything yet -- it's been over a week from the inquiry, in the past it's only taken 2 days. I'm happy our case has finally arrived at NVC but now waiting for a case # seems a bit much.... anyone else?
  6. On my letter it's 09 March, website says 10 March. Thank you! Hopefully you will be next!
  7. NOA2: March 10th Finally got an email today saying they received our case and "Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems." Ugh sharing everyones frustration about how long this is taking. Happy some movement is occurring and hoping for everyone the wait is over soon!
  8. NOA2 -- March 10th, 2023 Inquiry sent April 12th, 2023 -- Still haven't received our case. Pasted exact wording below: "Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center (NVC) has not yet received your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Although the Form I-797 approval notice mentions a delay of up to 30 days for cases to be delivered to NVC from USCIS, current shipping times may be longer. If you have not received a communication from NVC about this case within 60 days from the I-797 approval notice, please contact us again. Once NVC receives this petition from USCIS and enters it into our system, all case parties will receive a notice that they can begin processing if a visa number is immediately available."
  9. hi! what do you mean create an account with the NVC? My understanding is that we use the public inquiry form to contact them until we get a case #? thanks!
  10. Hi! For the new I-134 form, it asks to list Beneficiary Income and Assets. Question: Do I have to list this if I (petitioner) make the required income to support the beneficiary? My fiancé has a real estate holding that he makes passive income from, but isn't needed to help me support him. So is it relevant?? Screenshot for reference:
  11. Hi All! I'm filing out the new I-134 form for K1 visa and a little confused with all of the different information out there -- lots of controversy about listing assets so two quick questions: 1. I am a freelancer so I am providing my 2022 IRS transcripts and I made well over the needed income last year. However, being a freelancer there are ebbs and flows. So my question is, do I have to list assets? Or does that just complicate things? And if my income is not consistent will that, in the future, affect the I-864? 2. My fiancé has a personal property that he rents and makes income from in the UK. Do I have to list this in his assets? And would this count as a personal home or a real estate holding? Thank you!!!!
  12. Case approved!!! 03/10/23 #WAC22900290xx Wishing everyone some movement soon, the patience is such a struggle. So thankful for all the data updates and support from everyone in this group! 💗
  13. Congrats!! 🎉🎉 Hoping I'm not far behind and thank you so much for continuing to post data!
  14. Congrats to you both!! Question: did you get an email notice of a status change?
  15. Hi All! Has anyone else had different messages recently? My USCIS account has said "unknown" for the past week but the case number check has said "received" at the same time. Any thoughts? Just finding it a bit weird but also maybe secretly getting my hopes up. Note: full case number has been whited out. Thanks all and keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!! The data has been so helpful and encouraging!
  16. Just to clear things up -- 1. I obviously do not support myself with $0 income. It was an example on how to fill out the form as it is confusing and just trying to help others without disclosing personal information. 2. My fiancé's interview hasn't been scheduled yet, just trying to get ahead of this paperwork as much as I can! 3. I'm pretty sure you have to submit this new form, as the old one expires. I attached a screenshot from the uscis.gov website about accepting the new form. I know it's annoying because it doesn't really apply to our situation, but we have to make it work. Glad to have a community where we can be kind to one another and try to be helpful! Patience is key and I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend!
  17. Haha completely. But it makes much more sense now, thank you for your help!
  18. Oh I see! Okay so specifically it says "do not include any individuals named in Part 2" (aka the beneficiary). So I would fill it out like so -- because it is only asking about others that are NOT the beneficiary. And in this case I do not financially support others or have dependents.
  19. Thank you for that other forum link, glad to see I'm not the only one confused! I agree, I'm hesitant to put $0 because I know I will have to financially support the beneficiary so it doesn't make much sense to me. I think I'm going to go ahead and do some math for that final column, rather than leave it blank. It seems to me that they just want to see a number that proves you can financially support in the future?
  20. Agreed, this new form is annoying! I am the petitioner, filing on behalf of the beneficiary. So for that section, I did put $0 as he won't earn income like you said. But this section is asking about myself, so it's confusing.
  21. Hi! With this new form I haven't found any examples to look at, so I was hoping one of you might be able to help me on this question? I think it's asking for the income I provide for myself, but I'm not sure what to put in the last column. I don't have any dependents or support any other individuals. Thank you!
