  1. Hi guys, I am a U.S. citizen. My spouse used to divorce before, and in her divorce decree, it is stated that her ex-spouse is in charge of her son's custody. She only has the right to visit and to jointly take care of him. In this case, am I eligible to file a petition to sponsor the son? Or, is there any document needed like a waiver of parental rights for children from her ex-spouse? Thank you
  2. Thank everyone for your support, I've completed everything and submitted my package to USCIS. But, on the check, I accidentially wrote "U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services" instead of DHS like said in the instruction. Will this cause any trouble to my application?
  3. Hi guys, I am new to this forum. I am in a process of preparing to file a petition to sponsor my fiance on the K-1 visa. After doing some research, I am a bit confused about the evidence we need to send along the form. There are some sources saying that we are supposed to provide information regarding our wedding like cards, announcements, confirmation of wedding services etc. while others do not. So, I really need to ask whether or not we must plan for our wedding before filing the form. Thank you for your time
