Medical RFE came from Boise, ID office even though my local office is Seattle.

During my wait I used AP to enter U.S. by air and both land borders (Mexico & Canada) without any issues.

Same here. Received my EAD today and it’s category C09 (C09p is combo) with “NOT VALID FOR REENTRY TO US” on the card.

 

My immigration lawyer told me that they have seen more cases like this recently. 

 

I chatted with Emma and the agent helped me filed an expedite request with the reason USCIS error cuz I really can’t fit into any other reason. I guess we can only wait and see.

Exactly the same thing happened to me today. Received my EAD and it is not a combo card, sigh...

I'm gonna chat with Emma tomorrow and see. @AAAH please keep us updated. Thanks!

That's expected in my case, just suprised they are already reviewing the I-485.

Yeah, the speed of the AOS entirely depends on your field office and you seem to be in luck.

I find it insane that some offices can approve you in the same time it takes another office just to schedule biometrics. All based on where you live in the U.S.

Now that I have access to I-130 online, I can see a weird glitch under "Documents - Your Uploads".

For some reason there is file called "...part2.tiff" that is a scan of 25 pages towards the end of our application. Nothing more, hopefully they have a scan of the full application somewhere...

Family based AOS - spouse of USC:

October 6th - Packet mailed via UPS (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131)

October 7th - Delivered

October 10th - Text message with receipt number (IOE) received at 8pm PT on Sunday (!)

Waiting on letters to figure out my service center and get online access code.

My local office is Seattle, so biometrics will take a long time for me..
