Your kids look to be about the same age as mine so I know there is not much she needs to be doing. My kids do their own thing most of the time.

Thanks for your opinion She did have a great deal with me, especially since she only watched the kids 50 hours a month while school is in session. Oh well her lose.

Am I being selfish? Do I have a reason to be so angry? Let me explain....I have a room mate, she moved in with the agreement that she babysat my kids while I worked during the day in exchange for her portion of the rent and utilities. Fast forward almost 2 yrs later, our lease is up and we move July 31st. Her son became sick (allergies, eczema) and spent a few days last week in the hospital. When he was released she decided to go stay at her aunts house. Today I get a text telling me taking care of him and watching my 2 kids is too much for her, so she won't be back for awhile. Whats awhile? She has 12 more work days to babysit them before we move #######???? I am pissed, my main reason for being so mad is because not once has she called me to give me a heads up about the situation or her plans. I had to call and text her day after day to find out what was going on. I understand her son comes first of course but she also has a responsibility to me. I'm still expected to pay her portion of all the household bills! She could have picked up a phone! And I'm sorry but is it really that hard to watch my kids also? My kids are not babies and her son is not critical nor in need of constant medical attention, she is playing games. What also makes me mad is she knows my situation with not having anyone else to babysit. Well I'll be finding out tomorrow if I can move into my condo early and she can figure out ####### she's gonna do with the rest of her month. She's enjoying her aunts house maybe she should just stay there.

Can I just rant for a moment? Ok good.... I HATE packing to move!!!! I know I have to but I just feel like its endless. I can't wait to be settled somewhere forever, lol. Ok thanks, complaining made me feel better, now i'm off to pour a glass of wine and tackle the kids clothes.

going to give a little update on what has been happening....

Kaila is doing great!!! Goes for her 2 month check up on tuesday...she is going to get "gifts" not sure who is going to be more upset she or i.....

in July i am going to file for divorce....there are many things i have come to realize about mike and that he is never going to change or be the man i need him to be....and honestly he was just in it for the GC.....it sucks to realize that....life goes on.....

a lot of things have started to fall into place...so in a couple of months i will start taking classes at a local college and be able to stay home with Kaila....which is great!!

I am happy to hear about all the recent approvals!!!

.. Yesterday Tierra, Louis and I took a walk around the 'hood... I live near a really pretty park with a river/waterfall running through it. Louis said he wouldnt mind getting married there... so I e-mailed the park director and YES! They have the night available that I want and it is only $50! Oh I am happy - some good news! I originally wanted the beach but the river reminds me of the places Louis and I would go in St Lucia. Its also a 5 minute walk from my apartment and the sounds the falls make is so nice. Now lets pray for sun on August 23rd!

Thats sounds beautiful. It makes me smile hearing how everything is so nicely falling into place for your family!

Hey Ladies, just wanted to say i havent posted much as im still very new to the journey, but i have been following the yardie thread, as it is very entertaining. You all seem like one big cool as family, all bound by the same common thread and You all seem to be a great batch so i am glad that i discovered VJ. I will be heading to Jamaica in July to be with my SO and hopefully we will start the filing process when i return, so wish me luck. Irie in case you missed it, congradulations, Gill same to you, i am truly happy for you. Mommy2B, keep your head up, think about you and your baby, and know that God is gonna work it out for you. Awww sweetie I am so sorry. I know I don't know what happened but my prayers are with you. I think if he is your true love you will find a solution to this. Relationships are hard and even harder when your hormones are going crazy from being pregnant.

We seem to have experts on quite a few topics on here I was wondering if we have any tax experts? I need info on how many exemptions I should be claiming on my paychecks. Right now I claim 3 and if I change it the extra money would really help. I'm moving in August and need every penny I can get to pay for daycare. I need my money now not in a huge refund at the end of the year like I usually get. But I also don't want to end up owing.

Just got done watching Dateline with Randy Pausch. Wow. I watched him on Oprah a while ago too. Anyways he has a lecture on youtube and a few other places and its great. Unfortunatly my first (my son) was drug free. NOT by choice, the damn epidural didn't work! With my daughter the epidural worked, yahooooo!!!!!!

I had an idea.....I want to make a cd, but want to hear something I maybe would not have thought of myself. I would like each person to name a song (or however many you would like.) Hopefully we'll make a great cd and I could send it to whoever would like. I love all types of music.
