  1. I asked my CPA, the following question, but he wasn't 100 % sure . My fiance arrived 8/22 and we go married in 10/22. We filed the I-485 in 11/22. On my 2022 tax return, I filed "married filing separately". Im a little concerned that the IRS may look for a tax return on my spouse, and of course there isn't one since we are STILL waiting on his work authorization. I hope this doesn't affect the AOS. Just being cautious
  2. My fiance got here 8/4/2022, we married, applied for AOS in Nov and are still waiting . We did receive 1 RFE which we provided . So, we waited 16mos for the K1, and now the AOS may take over a year . Good luck to you . Patience is key.
  3. My spouse has been here one year, and he is still waiting on Work Authorization
  4. I know it's frustrating . We applied 3/29/21 and the visa was stamped in the passport 16 mos later
  5. I know it's frustrating . For my fiance and me, it took exactly 16 mos. It was one year before we heard the application was approved . So it seems you are within normal time-frames. Just don't give up, it will all fall into place .
